5 Patios to Keep On Your Radar This Summer
I have to say, I’ve never been happier that I’m writing this episode. It’s been a long time coming and truthfully, I didn’t think COVID would ever allow us to get to this point. Today, we’re talking about the top 5 patios you need to keep on your radar this summer. We’re talking patio drinks and eats… a true heaven on Earth after everything we’ve been through. About Only In YQG Your source for local culture, restaurants, latest news and events happening right here in Windsor-Essex county. As someone who was born and raised in Windsor I’ve spent my fair share of weekends sitting around trying to find something to do. SO, I’ve made it my mission to scout out all of the best places and events Windsor has to offer and share them with you so that you never have a dull moment. Now I know what you’re thinking… don’t we have blogs and the radio for that? Sure… local news websites and blogs give you the deets but let’s face it… there’s just not enough time in your busy day to sift through the fluff. So I’ve condensed all of the information into an audio format that’s under ten minutes and dished out twice a week. Whether you’re listening on your commute or while you get ready in the morning, this podcast will keep you informed. Think of it like a travel buddy in your pocket who will remind you to get out and explore your city. Available for free on Apple Podcast, Spotify or anywhere you get your favourite podcasts. Plants, Paint, Big Hearts & … Brownies
This week is all about mandatory masks, patios and Windsor… still not in Phase Two. It’s safe to say some of our local businesses are NOT happy and rightfully so… Last week we launched another amazing giveaway to help give Windsorites some COVID relief. We partnered with five incredible local businesses and managed to donate $100 so far to Black Lives Matter organizations. It’s not even Christmas but this is the season of giving, friends. Local Businesses Helping You Reduce Your Environmental Footprint
There’s been a lot of talk lately about how COVID-19 has actually given the world a chance to breathe. Kinda ironic right? Since COVID’s main symptom has to do with respiratory issues. It’s almost like we’re being suffocated the way we suffocate the planet… interesting. Since I’ve been hearing more and more about this, I figured… why not feature some YQG businesses who were environmentally friendly and sustainable long before the CoronaVirus even made its debut?
