Ep. 67: Team Foxcatcher
Friends, where else are you going to get pressure washing, ticks, and Cindy Crawford all in one podcast episode?
Right here on On The Doc!
If you're one of those weirdos who doesn't like to hear us talk, skip over to the 18 minute mark or so to start the documentary discussion. Otherwise, buckle up because you will not be able to breathe when you hear Misty's latest story.
This week's episode is rated PG-13! It's not explicit but be mindful of little ears!
Ep. 66: What Jennifer Did
When we see a brand new true crime documentary, we're going to cover it. BUT FIRST: There's a TON of nonsense. Y'all know that's what we do best. Warning to Aux and Abby: This one isn't for you. So. Much. Jabbering. LIke, we don't even get into the documentary until about SEVENTEEN minutes in! We just had so many people and things to talk about. PLUS we're announcing the re-launch of our Patreon! Join us for even more nonsense over there, too! (FIND US HERE ON PATREON!) Y'all, we LOVE YOU! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement! As always, let us know what you think! Email us at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com or call us at the number below.
Ep. 65: Lover, Stalker, Killer
While a number of you requested this one, it was one of our tens and tens of fans who talked us in to it! Listen to us try to make sense of this insane story.
Wishing our sweet fan, Shruti, a speedy recovery!

Ep. 64: The Greatest Night In Pop
When you have two Gen X-ers on one podcast, how in the world are you NOT going to review The Greatest Night In Pop?
And when those two Gen X-ers also enjoy singing, you're going to get a whole lot of wannabe moments from them. Don't judge. We think we're incredibly talented so don't tell us otherwise.
Let us know what you think! We can't wait to hear from you!
onthedocpodcast@gmail.com
Ep. 63: American Nightmare
Well, this was no fun but we did what we could. We even had Amarilys's husband join us to try to make this thing more palateable.
Take a listen to our take on American Nightmare. Denise is kidnapped right out of her house with her boyfriend, Aaron who seems not so worried at first.
It's a fascinatng story of how not to judge a book by its cover plus you get some craziness from us.
In this episode we mention our upcoming re-launch of Patreon. Keep your eyes peeled!
Let us know waht you think! We LOVE to hear from you!
Ep. 62: Natalia Grace Speaks
A few weeks ago we got together to discuss good ole Natalia Grace. Y'all, what a mess. Between her story and her adopted father's ridiculous schtick and her adopted mom's incredibly heartbreaking abuse of Natalia Grace, this documentary will want to make you throw your remote at your television.
We also can't help but talk about Gypsy Rose, one of our all-time favorites here at On The Doc.
As always, let us know if you like what you hear! You can email us at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com or leave us a review wherever you're listening to us. Heck, you can even call us at the number below and leave us a voice mail. We love love love to hear from you!

Ep. 61: Escaping Twin Flames
In this week's episode of On The Doc your dynamic duo, Misty and Amarilys (each other's twin flame), dig into the captivating and somewhat perplexing world of Jeff & Shaleia Ayan, founders of Twin Flames Universe. Buckle up, because we're about to dive deep into the rabbit hole that had us wondering why we never thought to stalk our husbands. Escaping Twin Flames is streaming on Netflix.
As always, please leave us a review if you like what you hear. IF you don't, keep it to yourself. We already know we talk nothing but total nonsense on this podcast.
Send us a message at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com. We'd love to hear from you!
Ep. 60b: The Devil On Trial (pt. 2)
Happy Halloween, Doc-ters! Today we finish up The Devil On Trial. Be sure to take a listen to part one to catch up!
And remember, friends. Don't get possessed and murder your good friend and then not remember you did it. Stay safe out there!
Ep 60a: The Devil On Trial (pt 1)
It's Halloween week so we thought we'd share some spookiness by discussing "The Devil On Trial" streaming on Netflix.
In this episode we take time to set up the story and as always, take some detours along the way.
Part 2 will hit on Tuesday so be sure to get caught up.
We love hearing from you so visit us at our Facebook page, or leave a review on your preferred paltform, or maybe send us an email at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com. Or heck, just drop us a voice mail at the address below!
Ep. 59: The Most Hated Man On The Internet
Here's an unreleased episode from the vault. We recorded it about a year and a half ago and completely forgot about it. But wow...we shouldn't have. If you're into our unnecessary laughter, this episode will be right up your alley!
PARENTS: You might want to listen through this one before letting your young children listen in.
As is our custom, we told you we would record another title but then never did it. We just like to keep you guessing.
When a young woman's pictures are hacked and put on the internet, her mom goes into action to bring down the fleabag of a human being that was responsible.
If you like what you hear, leave us a review or send us a message at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com or at the voice mail number below. We LOVE to hear from you!
Ep. 58: BS High
Let's talk about BS High streaming on MAX. What a lunatic this guy is! And boy did we have a good time laughing at him. This dude spells his name N-A-R-S-S-I-C-I-S-T. We think. We're not really sure how to spell that word.
If you enjoyed the episode, be sure to let us know. We love to hear from you!
Ep. 57: Depp v. Heard
We also come out as lovers of Halloween and Harry Potter. Sorry not sorry.
Enjoy the conversation and the laughter!
As always leave us a review if you like what you hear or even send us a message via email at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com or through the link below in a voice mail. We LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear from you!
Ep. 56: Tiny Shoulders
With so much talk about Barbie and the Barbie movie, we decided to watch Tiny Shoulders and discuss all that Barbie means to us when we were little girls and what we think of her now that we're adults.
Along the way, there is the same silliness and laughter you've come to expect as well as some great conversation!
If you like what you hear, please rate and review us. And we LOVE to hear from you so be sure to send us a message at the link below or email us at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com.
Ep. 55: Betrayal: The Perfect Husband; Carlee Russell
Then we get started talking about one of the worst men we've ever come across. There is SO SO much annoying and unnecessary laughter in this episode. If you hate that about us, you ain't gonna like this one.
Betrayal: The Perfect Husband can be found streaming on Hulu.
As always, if you like what you hear, please leave us a review on your favorite podcast platform. If you don't like us, keep it to yourself. We're fragile.
And if you have any thoughts or suggestions, email us at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com, message us through Facebook, or simply leave us a voice mail at the link below. Enjoy!
Ep. 54: Killer Sally
The bad news: Last fall, we recorded this episode and totally forgot to release it. But gosh, it is such a great documentary!
The good news: We remembered it thanks to a listener suggestion and here it is cued up and ready for your listening pleasure!
Killer Sally: After years of abuse, former Marine and bodybuilder Sally McNeil snapped on Valentine's Day 1995 and killed her husband Ray McNeil, also a former Marine and award winning bodybuilder. Their story is what true crime documentaries are made of. The backstory is compelling, the victim and her children are incredibly sympathetic, and the story is heartbreaking.
Streaming on Netflix.
If you like what you hear, be sure to rate & review our little podcast. We love to hear from you and it helps with visibility. And y'all know we want as many people as possible to hear us talk.
You can always send us an email at onethedocpodcast@gmail.com or leave us a voice mail at the link below.
Enjoy!
Ep: 53: Take Care Of Maya
If there has ever been a time for On The Doc to take over documentary watching duties, it's for this particular film. The heartbreaking story of the Kowalski family will have you angry and wanting to fight on their behalf and asking Misty for some of her meds.
This week, Misty and Amarilys discuss Take Care Of Maya which is the #1 streaming documentary on Netflix. As usual, they take a couple of detours and try to have some moments of levity to brighten your day.
Comments about this episode? Use #OnTheDocMaya
If you love what you hear, be sure to send us a message at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com and head over to your favorite platform and rate/review us. We live for your (positive) comments!
Ep. 52: Gunther's Millions
Today, Misty and Amarilys dive into Gunther's Millions, a documentary that will leave you with more questions than answers.
But before they unveil the goods, a quick heads up: the episode starts with around 14 minutes just chatting things up. They had to talk about how grateful they are for YOU, the amazing listeners, a Natalia Grace update, and of course, a random Misty story. So, grab a snack, sit back, and enjoy the prelude before they jump into the world of German Shepherds who are one percenters.
In this insane documentary, a dog inherits a jaw-dropping fortune of $400 million. From that point on, buckle up because what's true one minute, is not true the next. Gunther's Millions takes you one of the strangest rides you've ever been on and leave you wondering what the heck you just saw.
Watch the documentary and share your thoughts with us using the hashtag #OnTheDocGunther. (Make sure your post is public so we can see it!) We can't wait to hear what you think!
Gunther's Millions is streaming on Neflix and features 4 episodes.

Candy (Hulu)
Ep. 51: Shiny Happy People
So we did a thing. The good news: We recorded ourselves during a Facebook Live so if you missed it, you can listen here. The bad news: We are ALL OVER the place. Nevertheless, we talk a whole lot about the cult known as IBLP led by cult master Bill Gothard and its most famous members, the Duggar family.
The Duggars are sweet, beautiful, and faithful Christians. They are the titular Shiny Happy People but it's all a veneer. Let's talk about eye traps, devil sticks, and NIKE!! (iykyk)
Beware: There's lots of giggling, lots of interaction with our online guests, and just general silliness coupled with some real discussion about the damage caused by legalism and extra-Biblical teachings.
Tune in to find out why these "shiny" people are more than meets the eye.

If you like what you hear, leave us a review! We love to hear from you but only if it's good. We're fragile and can't handle the rejection. We're talking to you, Aux23.
ATTENTION: We have put our Patreon on pause until further notice. We were unable to deliver consistent content there and we would never want to take advantage of your support. Don't give up on us, though. We're still trying to make it work. In the meantime, keep your eyes open because we are planning on releasing some of those old Patreon episodes for your listening pleasure!
As always, THANK YOU!! We are overwhelmed by your kind words and support of our little pandemic project that never went away. You guys are AWESOME!
Ep. 50: The Curious Case Of Natalia Grace
Hello Doc-ters! Join your favorite dynamic duo as they talk about "The Curious Case Of Natalia Grace," currently streaming on Discovery+ and Max.
In this laugh-out-loud episode, Amarilys and Misty dissect the baffling story of Natalia Grace Barnett, a Ukrainian orphan shrouded in mystery. Is she a grown adult masquerading as a child or an innocent caught in an elaborate hoax?
This episode will have you questioning reality, and we promise plenty of laughs along the way!
With their trademark humor, Misty & Amarilys dive headfirst into some of the craziest scenarios you've ever heard of in "The Curious Case Of Natalia Grace." It's the rollercoaster ride you never knew you needed.
Subscribe, rate us (they only accept five stars and reject your lesser ratings for the sake of their egos) and share this episode with your documentary-loving friends.
Disclaimer: Our episode may induce uncontrollable fits of laughter and remember that snorting is always encouraged in our podcast universe!
Ep. 49: Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster
Welp, here's an episode that you don't want to hear. But we recorded it so we didn't want it to go to waste. I mean, this topic is TOUGH. We found some giggles in there which was the only way to get through the material. So please forgive us if our laughter seems inappropriate. Especially if you're that reviewer who hates our laughter. You know who you are.
This documentary is streaming on Discovery+ or Max. And it's definitely not for the kiddos.
Ep. 48: Pamela: A Love Story
It's been way too long, Doc-ters! We've missed you! Join us on our return from yet another hiatus as we discuss Pamela: A Love Story. Pam Anderson was a joke in the 90s when she and her husband's sex tape fell into the wrong hands. Her career took a hit but her life was also affected and the world laughed not realizing there was a human being behind all the hype.
There are a couple of times in this discussion that you might not want your younger children listening so take heed! No worries, it's not awful but sometimes things aren't for little ears and we just wanted to let you know!
Enjoy and be sure to come back and let us know what you think. But only if it's good. Keep it yourself otherwise. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Pamela: A Love Story is streaming on Netflix.
Ep. 47: Call Me Miss Cleo
Happy New Year!
The ladies are back for a new year of fun! They're kicking it off with a conversation about the legendary Miss Cleo of Psychic Readers Network. If you're older than 40 years old, you'll remember these psychics from the early 90s and aughts. The biggest character of them all was Miss Cleo and boy does she have a story!
Settle in and enjoy the conversation about the life of a woman who most people didn't really know.
If you enjoy what you hear, we'd love to know it! Leave us a review on your favorite platform and or inbox us at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com or leave us a voice message at https://anchor.fm/onthedoc.
Better yet, connect with us on Patreon where we chat about more nonsense and where we love to go live when the technology works (read: WHEN WE'RE SMART ENOUGH TO MAKE IT WORK)
Call Me Miss Cleo can be found streaming on HBO Max.
Ep. 46: The House Of Hammer
Did y'all think we forgot about you? Of course we didn't! We LOVE our Doc-ters! The truth is we have three episodes ready to go but we just can't seem to find the time to edit them because ...well....life happens., right?
This week we talk about The House Of Hammer on Discovery+. This documentary is the actual definition of NUTS. These folks have such trauma behind their actions that they can't see how evil their stories became.
You MUST watch it. It's the craziest docuseries we've seen in a while!
Ep. 46: The Girlfriend That Didn't Exist
This documentary should be required viewing for today's generation who is totally fine with having complete relationships sight unseen. One minute you're talking to the girl of your dreams, the next minute you're trying to figure out how she came back from the dead and the next minute you lose the National Championship to Alabama. --and we didn't even make any of that up.
Y'all....you have to watch this film to believe it. Or don't watch it and listen to us tell you all about the ups and down of sweet Manti T'eo and the pretend girlfriend that was very real to him.
This week we bring you laughter, tears, and more of that total nonsense we're so famous for.
If you enjoy what you hear, please rate and review on your platform of choice or better yet, send us an email at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com or even better than that, leave us a voicemail at the link below. We LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear from y'all!
And if you simply can't get enough, then join us over on Patreon! Just like us, it's cheap fun! www.patreon.com/offthedoc
Ep. 45: Our Father
Amarilys watched the entire documentary. Misty did not. That would normally only be a tiny problem but in this case, Amarilys couldn't find her notes so almost this whole episode was from the hip. Also, we spent a good 15-20 minutes at the front end just chatting and telling stories so if you hate that part, just click over to when we actually start talking about this movie. But trust me, you might not want to forward. It's sheer nonsense but hopefully it will give you a good laugh.
As always, if you enjoy what you hear, please rate and review us on your favorite platform.
And we would love to have you over on Patreon where we almost always release episodes a few days early plus lots of other fun conversations. It's cheap entertainment! www.patreon.com/offthedoc
Ep. 44: The Girl In The Picture
Welp, here it is. The saddest documentary of all time. This is not a feel-good docu-series. It will leave you breathless and in shock and thankful for your own life. --but we loved it! Listen to us break down the ins and outs of how something so horrific could happen to such a beautiful young lady and baby boy.
I mean, it doesn't SOUND like you'll have a good time but we promise that we found some levity and I bet you'll enjoy our take. What's not to like about us!? (Don't answer that)
If you like what you here over there at On The Doc, head over to Off The Doc on Patreon and get these episodes early plus more Misty/Amarilys conversations! We'd love to have you over there!
And if you like what you hear here, please let us know! We love to hear from our listeners! You can find us all over social media, or email us at onthedocpodcast@gmail.com, or leave us a voice mail at the link below.
Don't forget to rate AND review us! Thanks so much!
Ep 43: Bound By Flesh
Ep. 42: Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey
Why are all cult leaders old ugly white men? I think that's the real question we need to answer once we get through talking about this docu-series. The monstrosities these horrible people allowed happen are being exposed for the world to see and that's a good thing. Listen to Misty and Amarilys discuss the crazy, the tragedy, and the bad dental hygiene of the FLDS people. You won't regret it. Or heck, maybe you will.
They won't be held responsible for what you're about to hear. If you do love what you hear, leave us a rating/review on your favorite platform or perhaps even leave us a voice mail at the link below. Thanks!! OH! And don't forget to join them over on Patreon (www.patreon.com/offthedoc) It's a whole lot of cheap fun!
Ep. 41: Blackfish
There's not many places in podcast world where you can hear a pair of women talk about an killer whale, orca insemination, Menudo, and New Kids On The Block but you can at On The Doc!
Listen in as Misty and Amarilys discuss the tragic story of Tillikum the whale and how Sea World isn't the world's greatest vacation destination.
This episode is mildly NSFW and it's likely you'll want to listen before you let your kids listen.
Sorry. We're busy moms and this is our only outlet. Sometimes it gets away from us.
Did you enjoy the show? Please leave us a review/rating wherever you listen and/or leave us a voicemail at the link below. We would be ever so grateful!
Ep. 40: The Last Blockbuster
We like to think of this documentary and podcast episode as more of a history lesson of sorts for younger Millennials and Gen Z. They will never know the pain of loitering around the return bin in the hopes of catching the latest VHS release of certain big screen hits nor will they ever experience the smell of a brand new Blockbuster in their towns. They will never have the privilege of signing up for their own card when they come of age. And they will never have to worry about late fees.
But not us old folks. We experienced it all. And this wonderful documentary brings up all the right memories and makes you long for the most fun part of your week: renting a movie over the weekend.
You'll hear us reminisce about those days and we also sometimes get a little sidetracked. --like we always do. We can't help it. Sorry not sorry.
Enjoy!! We can't wait to hear about your movie rental stories!
The Last Blockbuster is streaming on Netflix and is suitable for most audiences.

Ep. 39: Hillsong: A Megachurch Exposed
This week, Misty and Amarilys may make some enemies. Hillsong is a megachurch out of Australia who built an empire around the world on the strength of its amazing music. They were led by a dynamic man named Frank Houston and a host of celebrity pastors including Carl Lentz who pastored Hillsong NYC. Parishioners at NYC consisted of the likes of Justin Bieber, some Kardashians, Chris Pratt and a number of other celebrities. But what happens when a church becomes larger than its message is supposed to be? Scandal after scandal ranging from financial and ethical irregularities all the way to unspeakable crimes against women and children.
As women of faith and lovers of c(C)hurch, Misty and Amarilys have a lot to say about this type of organization. Join them as they discuss this very popular church.
As always, please rate and review if you enjoy what you hear and to get more fun and interesting discussions, join them at Off The Doc on Patreon.
Ep. 38: Bad Vegan
If there's a new documentary on Netflix and it has to do with someone getting swindled and scammed, you know we're gonna watch it. And boy did this one deliver! Sarma Melingailis was a successful restauranteur in NYC with a bright future ahead until a new man comes into her life and begins to chip away until nothing was left. This documentary will leave you dumbfounded and just plain ole mad.
In this episode, you'll hear talk of veganism, Pigeon Forge, TN, and reaching immortality for you and your dog all in the same hour. --Not to mention how to spend $6,000,000 you don't have in the course of about a year.
If you like what you hear, leave us a rating/review on your favorite platform or leave us a voice mail at the link below. We would also love to have you over at our little but growing Patreon community called Off The Doc! Enjoy!
Ep. 37: Super Size Me
In 2004, Morgan Spurlock made a movie that impacted millions. And that's no understatement. The movie did well at the box office, was nominated for an Oscar, and to this day, is shown in middle and high school health classes.
And yet, the claims are all dubious and Spurlock seems to just simply not like people who aren't thin and fit.
This movie does bring to light the pitfalls of the standard American diet but it also takes liberties with the actual ramifications And we're here for it.
You'll have to forgive Amarilys's vulnerability in this episode and congratulate Misty on how well she handled the tears that came as we talked about a subject Amarilys is all too familiar with.
______________
If you like what you hear, join us over on Patreon and leave us a review if you have a moment.
Enjoy!
Ep. 36: Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Was
What happens when you're young, rich, and spoiled? You get duped by a con-man who charged as much more than $200,000 for a weekend music festival on an abandoned island and you get to eat cheese sandwiches.
This is the unbelievable story of how Billy McFarland attempted to organize a music festival with only 3 months' notice and how it all fell apart at the expense of millennials who just wanted to be like super models.
If you like what you hear, leave us a rating/review on your favorite platform or leave us a voice mail at the link below.
We would also love to have you over at our little but growing Patreon community called Off The Doc!
Enjoy!
Ep. 35: I Love You Now Die: (On The Doc Version)
Amarilys forgot to turn on the microphones on this episode last week so they pulled it and re-recorded it. We're hoping to raise enough Patreon funds that maybe one day, Amarilys can go to a training class that teaches her how to press "on" and "record" simultaneously. In any case, if you're interested in the original, it's been uploaded to Patreon. We would love to have you over there, too!

Are you responsible for the death of someone else if you encouraged them to take their own life? That's exactly what happened when Michelle Carter's boyfriend, Conroy Roy, began to contemplate ending it all. This is a conversation about personal responsibility when mental illness is involved. --and a conversation about the importance of eyebrow maintenance.
We also discuss our own personal experiences with depression and meds. As always, we can't help but laugh quite a bit even when talking about such serious matters. Life is tough. Sometimes a laugh is exactly what we need to get to the next moment. Don't forget to rate and review if you like what you hear.

Ep. 34: The Tinder Swindler
When you're single, you're often searching for Mr. Right and for Cecile, Simon Leviev was just the man for the job. Unfortunately, Simon was searching for love with more than just one woman and in fact, went from victim to victim as he lived a lavish lifestyle around the world on their dime. He caused destruction as he tapped out one women and when on to the next until he met three women who would not let him get away with it.
The Tinder Swindler is streaming on Netflix.
Today, the ladies announce the launch of Off The Doc which is On The Doc's Patreon page. Head over to our Patreon page as they begin this new venture. www.patreon.com/offthedoc

Thanks for listening, friends!
Ep. 33: Bully
In this bonus episode, Misty and Amarilys take on a very serious topic: bullying.
The episode is a departure from the regular fun and games you hear the ladies talk about but it's an important thing to discuss as it has dire consequences if not addressed.
In this movie, your heart will break as you watch the kids be targeted through no fault of their own and you will see what pieces remain when some of them take matters into their own hands. We see how parents, adults, and teachers have all failed these children when they came to them for help. But when you know better, you do better and it's our hope that our little discussion in our small part of the podcasting world will be heard and make a difference when your child or student approaches you with this problem.
In the second half of the discussion, Misty gets vulnerable about her own child's experience with a bully this year. It's hard to listen to but hopefully you will hear her heart and talk to your own children about what's been happening under our own noses.
Do you have a story about a bully? Let us know. We can be reached across social media platforms, email (onthedocpodcast@gmail.com) or voice mail at the link below. We would love to hear from you.
Thanks for letting us get serious for a bit.
Bully can be streamed on Netflix or rented on Prime, AppleTV, YouTube, and DirectTV.
Ep. 32: Queen Of Versailles
What happens when you're accustomed to private planes, a nanny for each of your eight children, and plastic surgery at will and then the economy crashes?
In this week's episode, we see how the uber-rich Siegel family dealt with having to live like the common people by (GASP!) sending their children to public school, renting a car but not having a chauffeur, and flying commercial.
Misty and Amarilys also welcome guest co-host JD Wilkins who is Misty's daughter's boyfriend. Got that?
As always, there's plenty of banter and even a Minnie Pearl mention.
Enjoy and don't forget to rate and review OTD if you like what you hear! Have a great week, friends!
Ep. 30: Chicken People
Back in 2016, someone made a documentary about three lovely people who liked to raise and show chickens and all these years later, we are the beneficiaries of this work of art.
Listen in as Misty and Amarilys talk about this documentary in between some ridiculous discussions having nothing to do with this film. It's what they do best, after all. Talk about nothing while still talking about everything.
As always, if you enjoy what you hear, please rate and review. OTD is found on all major social platforms. We always love a voice mail so click the link below and let us know what's on your mind!
Thanks for listening!
Ep. 31: Beanie Mania
This week we discuss HBO Max's new documentary about the Beanie Babies craze of the 90s and learn that if you're ever offered $100,000 for a collection of stuffed animals, you should immediately accept or be stuck with thousands of little toys that are totally worthless 30 years later.
Also, we extend a request for a million dollars from Elon Musk in the hopes he has it just laying around the house and is looking for someone to give it to.
As always, if you like what you hear, leave us a rating/review on your platform of choice (iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Facebook) or send us a voice or email message. We love to hear from you!
Ep. 29: OTD Year In Review 2021
If you like what you hear, give the ladies a shout or leave them a good rating/review. (iTunes, Facebook, Spotify, wherever your heart desires) They love to hear from you!
OTD can be found on all social media platforms.
Wishing you a wonderful, happy, and prosperous new year!
Ep. 28: Twas The Fight Before Christmas
Mr. Morris wielded his position as an attorney and made sure his poor wife would never have any friends again because of the way he treated the neighbors.
He also has a special affinity for sweaters and sweater vests, cotton candy robots, and camels.
How could the ladies resist talking about this doozy of a documentary? Streaming on Apple TV+, this documentary is brand new and worth the time.
Wishing all of our wonderful listeners a very merry Christmas and a happy new year? Enjoy!
Ep. 27: Tiger King II Part One
We talk for about fifteen minutes at the beginning about absolutely nothing so if you'd rather skip that, the doc conversation really starts at or about 15:30.
Also, there's a couple of times the discussion turns a little sideways so it might be NSFW. No cursing, just some adult subjects. Don't judge.
Enjoy and let us know what you think, friends!
(Streaming on Netflix.)

Ep. 26: Grey Gardens
The relationship between the two ladies is at the heart of what makes this documentary simultaneously compelling and a train wreck.
Misty and Amarilys attempted to video themselves and if it sounds like they had a good time, it's because they did. If you don't like to hear them laugh, then this might not be the episode for you.
You can catch Grey Gardens on HBOMax or YouTube (for free!)
Enjoy!
As always, if you enjoyed listening to this nonsense, please leave On The Doc a review on iTunes or Facebook. It not only encourages the ladies but it also helps with rankings.
You can also find OTD on YouTube where episodes are uploaded and where Misty and Amarilys are planning to share episode videos in the near future.
Ep. 25: The Way Down: God, Greed, And The Cult Of Gwen Shamblin
Gwen Shamblin is a cautionary tale of what happens when a dynamic leader misrepresents the Bible and manipulates parishioners out of their money and relationships. It's a fascinating look at a world that was hiding in plain sight.
