Season 3: Episode 8, Matt Wolf, @mw_formation

Season 3: Episode 8, Matt Wolf, @mw_formation

Matt Wolf was appointed as the assistant men's soccer coach at Indiana University East in July of 2017.

Wolf previously served as an assistant coach at Whitworth University (Wash.), the University of Great Falls (Mont. – now known as the University of Providence), Occidental College (Calif.) and Rogue Community College (Ore.).

In five seasons of coaching prior to his time at IU East, Wolf played a key role with programs that produced three regular season conference championships and four postseason appearances.

"Really stoked about bringing Matt on to our coaching staff!" said IU East men's soccer head coach Steve Moore. "He comes to IU East having already coached a number of years at multiple college levels, so I have no doubt our players are really going to benefit from his experience. I'm personally really excited about having him on board because he's got a solid soccer mind, and he wants to soak up as much coaching knowledge as he can. He's got a great future as a coach, and I can't wait to develop this team/program with him this fall!"

Wolf earned his bachelor's degree in history and sociology from Gonzaga University. He holds a master's degree in organizational management from the University of Great Falls.

"I first heard about IU East adding men's soccer earlier in the year," Wolf said. "After seeing Coach Moore build the roster, coupled with the academic and athletic reputation of the IU system, it was an opportunity I was immediately interested in. I am excited about the chance to help Coach Moore build a program with the culture and identity aligned with his vision as well as to IU East standards."

IU East in 2016 announced plans to add NAIA men's and women's soccer programs. The teams will begin NAIA competition during the 2017-18 school year.

Season 2: Episode 26, Gabe Bolton, @GabeBolton

Gabriel Bolton, the most successful coach in Stanislaus State women’s soccer history, has guided the Warriors to an unprecedented seven consecutive post-season appearances including the 2014 NCAA West Region Championship.

The 2013 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) West Region Coach of the Year and 2013 CCAA Coach of the Year has been the head coach — during two stints — at Stanislaus State since 2001.

On November 3, 2013 Bolton reached a career milestone by winning his 100th match as head coach of the Warriors.  His current record thru 2016 is 143-75-24 (.590).  He is also one of only three active coaches to win multiple CCAA women’s soccer championships.

In 2015, Bolton led the Warriors to the CCAA Championship match and an overall record of 12-6-3.  The 2014 team captured the program’s first NCAA West Region Championship by blanking Cal Poly Pomona, 2-0, in Golden, Colo.  Stanislaus State advanced to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals, eventually falling to Colorado School of Mines in penalty kicks. The 2014 squad was the first women’s soccer team in history to reach a #1 national ranking.  Stanislaus State finished the season ranked #9 nationally.

Season 2: Episode 14, Keasel Broome @Keasel, "The journey to the top is really hard"

During his collegiate career at Providence College where he helped lead the team to its first Big East title in school history, Broome competed with the Ocean City Nor’easters, Reading United, and the Real Boston Rams of the USL’s Premier Development League.

In 2015, the San Jose Earthquakes selected Broome in the third round of the MLS SuperDraft but were not able to reach a signing agreement. In the same year, Broome made his international debut recording two shutouts for Barbados in two World Cup qualifiers.

After a year with the Harrisburg City Islanders (USL), in 2017 Broome made his way to Pittsburgh signing with the Riverhounds (USL), appearing in 6 games in the ‘17/18 season.

Broome became a citizen in Barbados in 2004 and was eligible through his Barbadian father. Broome was called up by the Barbados national football team for the first time in March 2015 but was unable to accept due to injury. He was called up again in June 2015 for Barbados's 2018 World Cup qualification matches against Aruba. Broome made his international debut in the first leg of the qualification series on 10 June 2015, posting a shutout as Barbados won 2–0.
