Dog Owners Beware - Parvovirus
Anyone who has a dog or is thinking of getting a dog should listen to this episode when vet Ryan answers questions about Canine Parvovirus (CPV). CPV is highly contagious and is spread from dog to dog by direct or indirect contact with their faeces. Vaccines can prevent this infection, but mortality can reach 91% in untreated cases. Treatment often involves veterinary hospitalisation so prevention and education on the virus is essential. Learn more in this episode while also discovering how vet Nickala has managed to combine her love of animals and acrobatics!
