On this episode, Tj Schlipp, Matt Miller, Matt Smith and Justin Hampton talk about the changes that the Missouri Department of Conservation has made for the up coming 2023-2024 season in Missouri.

On this weeks OTTV podcast, we have KNAPS founder Dennis Jasper. Dennis Jasper identified a need among children of single parents and children with disabilities. Thus began the Kids Need a Place to Start outdoor program in St. James, Mo., in 2008. Jasper has not looked back. “We give kids with disabilities and single parent children an opportunity which they would not otherwise have,” Jasper said. “These children so often fall through the cracks of our society. Too, single parents simply do not have the means to purchase necessary equipment for their children to get into  the outdoor to hunt or fish.”

“Our mission is to get kids out of the house and away from the video games and TV,” Jasper said. “We introduce them to the outdoor world by presenting classes about the outdoors including: animal identification, management practices for deer and wild turkey ,and gun and field safety. We instill in the students a sense of respect for fellow participants, instructors and the game they pursue. In the process, the kids acquire personal self esteem and develop a feeling for being responsible for themselves and their actions.”

“We are blessed to be able to enjoy the outdoors and we as KNAPS members are dedicated to teaching the kids about God, family and the great outdoors,”  he said.

On this OTTV podcast, we have Dan Gart talking about his experience he has had using a company that he promotes, Buck Scents Pads. Dan also has interest in the outdoor community with being the owner/operator of several companies and Dan talks about them also. With the rut getting closer day by day, the guys talk about the deer activity they are seeing by way of game camera and while hunting.

On this weeks episode, the team is join by Jim Dain of Pittsfield, Ill. who snagged a monster 140-pound, 10-ounce paddlefish March 18 at the Lake of the Ozarks and set a new Missouri record. The record breaks the previous record of 140-pounds, 9-ounces set in 2015 on Table Rock Lake. It's a great show you don't wanna miss.

On this weeks Ozark Traditions Tv podcast, the guys talk about their recent trip to to the NWTF Convention & Sport Show in Nashville TN. The guys got loaded up and headed south of Lebanon, they ran into a couple of guys having a fireside chat in a church parking lot, they turned around and an awesome talk with the two gentlemen. After about 30 minutes of talking, they had prayer and the guys were back on the road. Once they reached Southeast Missouri, Matt Miller, Matt Smith, Tj Schlipp and Michael Ballard, had to make a stop at Strawberry's BBQ for lunch, it is a tradition for Matt Miller, TJ and Michael to eat there as they have been doing that for years on their annual snow goose hunt and wanted Matt Smith to be part of it. They made it to Nashville Friday evening, got settled in and got rested up, because they were gonna need plenty of energy walking around the NWTF show the following day. Everyone had a great time and looking forward to next year and doing it all over again.

On this weeks OTTV podcast, the guys are joined with non other than the legendary Freddy King! The first half of the show the guys talk with Freddy about duck hunting and how it has evolved overnight the last several years. All of it the good and the bad. They also talk about The Retriever Trainer, which is a company that Freddy has that is a dog training service. So after the guys and Freddy talk about dog training a little they get into what Freddy is working on currently which is trapping for predator control on his hunting property.
