A young, professional woman was asked by an older cousin, who was visiting the young woman’s parents, to let them go out for 3 days so they could go out without their kids. She had work to do and would have had to picked between work and babysitting. A few facts: She doesn’t know the kids, she never babysits, the amount she would have made by working would have been $60hour. The parents knew this and asked for an amount, she gave them a $$ and they flipped out on her. Saying her time wasn’t that valuable, she was just a girl, and that she was their only option (of course, they didn’t plan this either so it was their hope she would have just babysat so they could go out).
