Today Roza is off once more, so we have another special guest. This is an interview from my semi-defunct Youtube channel I posted a while back. Her name is Sachiko Arae, a very good friend of mine. We talk about her dating experience and dating preferences.

Today Roza is off again, so we have a special guest. His name is Charles Montgomery and he’s been a friend of mine for years who's been living and working in Japan for almost as long as I’ve known him. He explains when and where he got the interest in Japan, and what it’s like living as a foreigner in Japan. We also talk about the Japanese comedy team we formed together. 

Today is Kiyoshi’s first solo episode. Roza is a working professional, Kiyoshi less so, so he’s taking on an episode all by his lonesome. Today he discusses the Japanese news of the week including the Japanese monkey attack, an exploitative swordsmith, and an anti-ramen splash shirt. He also does an offensive stereotypical New York accent. 

Today Roza and Kiyoshi talk about dating and romance in Japan and our experience dating Japanese people. We talk a lot about our dating history, mainly Kiyoshi's.

JAPANESE WORD OF THE EPISODE: Renai Kankei (恋愛関係) = Love Relationship

Today Roza and Kiyoshi talk about the Healthcare system in Japan. We talk tonsils, car accidents, a thing called the Kuwazu Imo, shoulder pain, and general Japanese healthcare goodness and why it’s better in Japan than in America. In short, if you get pregnant do it in Japan, not in America.

JAPANESE WORD OF THE EPISODE: KENKOU HOKEN (健康保険/けんこうほけん) = Healthcare

Today Roza and Kiyoshi tackle Japanese food, specifically which foods they get right and which foods they get wrong. They talk about Indian Food and its abundance in Tokyo, as well as cheese, which isn't, um, in abundance, and pastries, which are impeccable. 

JAPANESE WORD OF THE EPISODE: GOHAN (ご飯/ごはん) = FOOD

Today Roza and Kiyoshi tackle Japanese food, specifically which foods they get right and which foods they get wrong. They have some words about how the Japanese handle American food, specifically Hamburgers and Hot dogs, as well as the abysmal selection of Mexican Food in Tokyo. At least they get sushi right. They'll be back next week with part 2.
