43: 4 ways to keep your business sustainable with the right merchant account
4 ways to keep your business sustainable with the right merchant account:
1. Get a sustainable merchant account:
The last thing you want is for your payment system to close you out without and notice or recourse. You want to be sure to find a merchant account where you will not have to worry about waking up one day with your funds frozen. There are providers in the industry that maintain good relations with their bank partners so they are easily able to facilitate transaction issues if they occur.
2. Have a chargeback advocate:
In business having absolutely 0 chargebacks is not the norm. Regardless of the reason you want to have a provider that will help you deal with these claims and win them for you. This helps you maximize your sales revenue to make your business more sustainable.
3. Get an integrated payment solution:
Partner with a provider that will offer a variety of payment options to best suit your customers needs. Giving customers payment options convenient for them makes them loyal customers to your business.
4. Ability to manage your transactions:
Be sure you have control of transactions where you can manage concerning transactions such as disputes and fraudulent occurrences.

42: Perseverance
What would you do if you no longer under estimated yourself?
What would it be like it you truly honored yourself?
Will you operate like the end is secure?

41: Miss Me When I’m Gone?
If you were gone for an extended period of time would your clients miss you? If the answer is no then face it, you are easily replaceable. When we do business with a company or a prospect finally becomes a client something finally occurs; a relationship is made. Look at your significant other, or your marriage for example. You got involved in that relationship knowing there will be the good and the bad. Same circumstances comes with client relationships. Communication, ability to listen, accessibility, determining wants and needs and then fulfilling on that need are what make clients “fall in love”.
Yet, how many of us honestly do that? Online marketers that I have worked with over the years are notorious for setting up an automated system that removes them from having to communicate with their clients outside of an FB group. It’s all really quick easy money with little attention to an actual solution. We know that one person can not communicate with everyone, yet there are systems that can be set up to ensure that what they can NOT do for the client will still be taken care of.
Now, if we went away, for even a week, would they even notice? How much are we really there for our clients? Do we take their emails, calls or even follow up to ensure they are being taken care of? Do we even contact them enough for them to miss us? Maybe you can’t contact them personally, yet is there a system in place to make this happen for you?
Reflect on these questions are we head into 2021 and make it a top priority to change this human element that many businesses have lost during this amazing time of technological advances.

40: Be You
Right now you may be starting out in sales or just starting your business. To this I say one thing. No matter where the road takes you, be you the whole way. When you are in the trenches and looking to expand your client base it is very easy to get caught up in looking for the quickest path.
For example, a client asks if you are able to achieve this need, and without hesitation you reply “of course”, knowing full well that you are not going to be able to make it work. Right there you shot yourself in the foot for any future business. And on top of that word of mouth spreads more now than ever. The ripple effect is real. As much as you think about the money, you must tell yourself that reputation trumps all.
A quick sale is cool. Yet a lifelong customer is everything.

39: 50 Wins
As you round out 2020 I ask that you do this exercise. It is rare that we actually reflect in an objective.
It is okay to celebrate. It is okay to embrace the wins of the year.
These "small" parts have all added up to the whole.
You have permission to be proud of yourself. Amongst all else that went on this year do not forget the power you held in your victorious moments.
Look deep within. Trust me, they are there.

36: There is Beauty
Decided to cut out a lot of introductions and fluff. Really wanted to get straight to the point here. Also, it was a little later than I anticipated.
Hope you can relate to this and truly understand that embracing pain is one thing. Yet finding the beauty and meaning behind that pain is a total different mindset.
35: You Are You Rant
This was a bit later than I had hoped but wanted to get it done regardless. Bear with me if quality was poor here. I am just understanding at a deep level that we are the sum of our past and present thoughts. Our minds literally build our reality. So how does one become the architect of their life?
This begins with thoughts, and beliefs that then correlate into our decisions through habits and actions, which then lead us to our body, money, and relationships that are in our current state. So to build yourself up again I recommend a few things:
1. No phone 1-2 hours upon waking
2. Cold shower (just do it)
3. Meditate
4. Hydrate
Be in a place of power to tackle your big domino instead of focusing on the never ending to do list of bullshit. Things that make you stay"busy" yet are a complete waste of time.
Remember structure equals freedom (by the way this entire episode is me showing you that I would rather put material out than make it perfect, I DONT GIVE A FUCK)

21: Sunday Stillness
Today I wake up and after a morning walk, an added weight training session, and then a cold shower, I am in a state of calm. For here we all are, in this present moment. We are safe. We are healthy. We are functioning. Now I am not saying we should not be prepared and ready for anything to happen in terms of the economy. What I am saying is that now is the time to not add unnecessary stress onto your shoulders. You are going to be much better off in a complete state of abundance and love in this time than lack and fear. Go out into the marketplace with that abundant mentality and show your love and giving personality to all that you do business with and are hoping to do business with. Radiate abundance to your loved ones that are around you at this time. Have them feel your energy through the phone, or close next to you in the same room.
You are a master of your destiny and not a victim of the past. You are abundant, you are the source of all that you have in this life. You are already safe and secure, you simply just are not aware of it yet. I ask you to find time to sit in stillness and get to this inner peace. Take the time to feel all of these anxious and stressful feelings and allow them the work through you as I have spoke about in the past. Your mind, body, and business will thank you for this. We truly can take this epidemic and shed a positive result from it, if only we choose to shift our perspectives.
Cut out the news and the media and all the agendas that are being pushed so heavily at this time. They are not here to help you, instead only care about making you lethargic and keeping you glued to that seat and to their channel.
This is not as bad as they are speaking. Know that deep down. People need help now more than ever from employees to business owners. Now should not be the time that we turn our backs on others in fear, yet embrace others as we would ask to be embraced through struggle.
Find your own stillness and peace and please pass it off to a friend.

17: Business Core Values
1. Service to others is senior to all other activity
2. Deep relationships must be cultivated
3. Always aim to fundamentally change people
4. Use your voice and knowledge to find the truth
5. Detach from the finish line and surrender to the process
My decisions are made much faster now with these top of mind. If opportunities come my way for business and in my heart I am not all in or saying “Hell Yes”, I know that I must pass and say no.
When aligning yourself with core values you set yourself up for quick pivots, easier decision making, and ultimately less of the “shiny object syndrome”.
This squirrel-like mentality is something I feel that all of us have. We are the kind of individuals who enjoy new opportunities and want to take advantage of these options when we see fit. Use this as a reminder to constantly be reading over your mission, constantly read over your 10 year, 3 year, or 1 year goals. Constantly use these values as your wood that continues to make the fire burn. The state that we are initially feeling when first wanting to start a business or a career will fad with time. Yet, by nurturing this feeling and putting all of your attention on it with the correct amount of intention, you will be able to stay the course.
What do you embody?

- You can always figure out a way to achieve your goals
- Become a student of your calendar
- This is done for you and you only. You are not here to impress others

- Call at least three processors for pricing quotes.

- Get a month-to-month contract.

Today in class Brad Lea dropped bombs! If you follow Brad you know that you can expect unfiltered talk, authentic, and straight to the point real. Hear topics ranging from sales, family, perspective on struggle, and a lot of fun throughout.
BONUS 13: Relationship with Pain
Why do we run away from pain when it is merely a language. We have been brought up by family, encouraged by teachers, and even warned by friends or co workers to be careful of many situations in life. "Do not touch that", "Be careful around them", "Think about it before you do anything", etc. In every situation, and in a variety of different area in life we are taught to avoid pain at all costs.
Why does this have to be the case? Pain exists to make us stronger. Pain exists to talk to us, and to warn us, or teach us something. If truly the avoidance of pain was taken so literal we as a society would become nothing more than surface level. It would be a situation in daily life where we would refuse to truly allow for real connections. Now, that I mention it, this sounds strangely familiar. We have become a society so focused on the consumption of anything we can find that it will numb and mask the pain.
The more this goes on, the more the pain will grow, sitting trapped inside of you. If we never work through and allow it to release then we will find ourselves more stressed, less energetic, more distance, and less trustworthy. Do not numb yourself, instead feel it. Listen to what the pain is saying, become aware of where you feel the pain originating from, allow it to work through and out of the body, this is true release.
Become one with the language of pain. How we communicate with it is the most important thing.
12: 7 Ways to Lower Credit Card Processing Fees

11: Fear - 365 Days Later
Looking back, I realize that there is nothing to be afraid of. Yet, I guess that is why we often say hindsight is 20/20. The definition of fear is an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. The what ifs. The uncertainty and unknown. The unfamiliar. The feeling of being lost. Darkness. Alone.
All of these emotions can be categorized in the same bucket. FEAR. Tonight marks a very crucial time in my life, so let's hop in the time machine and go to that pivotal day.
10: eCommerce
Today’s lesson is rather simple. I want to be straight to the point, deliver my value, and dismiss you all. With that being said let’s talk ecommerce.
Electronic commerce or ecommerce is a term for any type of business, or commercial transaction that involves the transfer of information across the Internet. ... It is currently one of the most important aspects of the Internet to emerge.
I am sure most of you listening this is a vital piece of your emerging business. Whether you are fully ecommerce, supplementing your brick and mortar location with ecommerce sales, fulfilling orders by way of drop shipping, I mean the list is endless. So the question I ask is where are you going to begin to provide this option to your customers? No, no, no let me rephrase that. Where are you going to begin to provide this service for your business?
09: Day 42
Today marks the 42 day out of 75 on my 75 hard journey. For those who have been living under a rock 75 hard was out together by Andy Friscella, the owner of 1st Phorm. The guidelines are as follows:
1. Exercise twice each day for 45 minutes - one of these workouts must be outdoors
2. Drink a gallon of water a day
3. Pick a diet or eating plan and stick to it with absolutely NO CHEAT MEALS and NO ALCOHOL
4. Read a minimum of 10 pages every day of self development or business book. Stick to real life material that works on your mindset and can give you skills.
5. Take one progress photo each day
As I am reflecting on the journey and the process thus far I have truly begun to realize a key ingredient that I wanted to share with all of you. Tune in to this weeks show for my insight and the reflecting I have been doing during this journey that I am currently on.

2: Morning / Evening Routine
Morning / Evening Routine:
Each of these components are going to be critical to your success. First let’s start off with a few definitions to become aware of in this process:
Power: a source or means of supplying energy. Ability to act of produce an effect.
More so it comes down to our ability to generate energy where there is none. By doing so you are then able to create a world that you want around you. However, not all energy is created equal, there is positive and negative. This is why we must become intentional and conscious of where we are producing our energy.
Discipline: control gained by enforcing obedience or order, orderly or prescribed conduct or pattern of behavior, SELF-CONTROL.
There is a saying that through discipline comes freedom. Will Smith has said it along with countless of world changing individuals. I am sure you have also heard Self discipline is the willingness to do what it takes to achieve the result regardless of your feelings. You are never always going to want to do the work, yet that will never change that the work must still get done.
Health, wealth, happiness, relationships, development. All are categories or areas that will demand a laser like focus of you. Simply put right now at this very minute if there is something that you are halfway committed to right now, one foot in the pool the other out level of commitment, then quit that very thing right now. Let’s get you prepared for the course work to come and the curriculum that will be fed to you through out our semesters here.
Homework Assignment:
Get ready to start conquering your day. Grab hold of morning and evening routine. Keep these the most sacred hours that you have. If you control when you go to bed at night and when you wake up, you already have two wins daily. If you control these two portions of the day, you will not become shaken when there is something unexpected that occurs mid day.
Episode 1: Orientation
Welcome to the class of 2020 and welcome to Overnight Success University.
I appreciate you for choosing this platform as a means to further your education, business, self-mastery, and mindset
Episode Zero
Welcome to Overnight Success University, my name is Mark Forster, and this is officially episode zero. Over the course of time we will go on a journey together. Once that I am in the middle of, and if you are here listening, I can say that you are in it as well. Overnight Success University represents the steps, the sweat, the education, and the dark days that every single person has gone through before one day people started saying they “made it”.
Here you are going to learn from peers either in the same space or different. This extent is irrelevant as the steps taken may be more of less the same. You will then have the opportunity to hear from those who have surpassed the hardship and have graduated OSU. The alumni if you will, where their lessons will be portrayed and delivered in a magnitude of what a PhD is equivalent to.
