3 Ways to respond to someone preaching in public
Many of us have heard someone preaching in public and might have been unsure of how best to act around them.  Some believers shy away from being associated with the preacher. While some believers simply look away because of how most people perceive those who preach in public. In this episode, I discuss 3 great ways you can respond to someone preaching in public: 1. Listen to what the person is preaching. 2. Say a prayer for the preacher and the hearers. 3. Show a gesture of support to the preacher. 3 Things to know when you join a new church
The Bible teaches that we are the church, the body of Christ. Although, in this context, a church is a gathering of believers. The Bible also teaches that it is important for us as believers to be a part of a local church. That said, there are circumstances when you may have to join a new church. E.g. due to a relocation, a desire to grow in the faith, as a new convert or returning to the church after some time. Whatever the reason, joining a new church is a new experience. On this episode, I shared 3 things to know when you join a new church. This is also good advice you can share with others who may need it. Listen, learn and enjoy! I'll love to know your thoughts, too. Please, join the conversation on the blog: https://coloursandflavours.com/3-things-to-know-when-you-join-a-new-church Thanks!

Speaking up: Overcoming the fear of questions & what-ifs
On the episode "do you have to add to your voice?", we established that every believer should speak up about their faith. However, when you decide to be bold and vocal about your faith, the fear of questions and what-ifs may pop into your mind. You may be concerned about someone asking a question that you are unable to answer correctly. Or you could imagine scenarios about how things may turn out when you speak up. So, how do you overcome this fear of questions on the faith? What do you do about the unfavourable what-ifs that you imagine? On this episode, I shared ways to deal with it so you can boldly speak up about the faith. Listen, learn and enjoy! Recommended books: 1. Am I being fooled? by Pst. Emmanual Iren (This is a free book so click on the title to get it.) 2. One thing you can't do in Heaven by Mark Cahill I'll love to hear from you too. Do pet names and words between lovers matter?
When I see lovers use certain words like "stupid", "idiot" or "bighead" on their partner, I think to myself, 'really?'. My mind just wouldn't think it's okay to say such words, especially to someone you say you love. So, I thought it would be nice to discuss pet names and words appropriate for lovers.  In a romantic relationship, should you carefully choose your words to your partner? Does it matter what pet names you call your partner? When joking, can you say anything you feel like?  Besides, what you say does not necessarily affect how you feel about your partner. Is it a big deal?  On this episode, I shared my thoughts on this and backed them up with good reasons. Listen, learn and enjoy!  I'll love to know your thoughts as well. Please, leave a comment on the blog: https://coloursandflavours.com/do-pet-names-and-words-between-lovers-matter/  Thanks!

Do you have to add your voice?
Have you ever kept quiet instead of talking even when you have the right thing to say? Especially when it comes to speaking for the faith and related discussions, it often seems easier to keep the Truth to yourself. Or sometimes, you may not want to seem too loud about it. So, the question comes up. Do you have to add your voice? On this episode, I answered that question and shared 7 reasons to support my position. You'll also learn a bit on how to do it. Listen, learn and enjoy! I'll love to know your thoughts on this too. Please, leave a comment on the blog: https://coloursandflavours.com/do-you-have-to-add-your-voice-faith-discussions Thank you.

Every bit counts!
A human body grows and is healthy when every part of the body is working properly.  The same applies to the body of Christ when every part of the body is working properly and supplying its bit.  Ensure to do your part, it is needed and important to the body.

Not doing whatever you want
Being a believer means that you no longer get to always do whatever feels good to you. Your life is no longer yours.  When you accept Christ as your lord that means you seek to do what pleases Him regardless of your feelings.   The teaching referenced in this episode is "The welfare code" by Pst. Iren, available on the Celebration Church Int'l podcast.
