We discuss the disappointing performances throughout the East, setting up what could lead to the upstart 76ers making it all the way to the NBA Finals!
In the West, it's business as usual with the Rockets and Warriors pretty easily getting through both of their series. But Round 2 may not be so easy for either team.
Can the Pelicans give the Warriors a run of their money? Is Anthony Davis the best player in this series (spoiler alert: we disagree on this)? And who would the Rockets prefer to see: The Jazz or the Thunder?
We also talk about impressive performances so far. Has Ricky Rubio finally realized his potential? Is Jrue Holiday the best sidekick in the playoffs?
Listen in now to see how we answer all of these questions!

Steph Curry is injured once again, and will most likely even miss the first round of the playoffs. Are the Warriors in danger of a potential first round exit?
LeBron has been playing at an all time high, even for him. Is this streak he's on a precursor to yet another Finals' appearance for himself and the Cavs?
And, finally, Markelle Fultz has returned to the basketball court. Leif and Calvin discuss his return game and what it could mean for the Sixers (currently 4th in the East) in terms of making potential playoff noise.
Lastly, for a change of pace, Calvin gives us the Dude and Dud of the Week.

Episode 57: Blazin' Saddles
Also, what in the world is going on with the Spurs and Kawhi Leonard? Why is he still not on the court? And is this finally becoming a lost season for the San Antonio Spurs?
Next, we circle back around to talk about the hottest team in the league right now: The Portland Trail Blazers. Are they for real? Just how good do we think they can be?
Last up, we discuss more turmoil in Cleveland, this time with Ty Lue having to leave the team due to illness. We wish Ty Lue the best and openly wonder what this means, if anything, for the Cavs during this already tumultuous season.
Last but not least, we get into Leif's Dude and Dud of the week!

Kawhi is returning to the Spurs this week, but is it already too late? Or should we expect the Spurs to be THE SPURS and make a deep playoff run once again?
We also talk about familiar faces and places as Derrick Rose reunites with Thibs in Minnesota and Dwyane Wade's resurgence since coming back to the Miami Heat at the trade deadline. How will these moves effect their teams moving forward?
Last but not least, we have our Dude and Dud of the week. You're going to want to stick around for this one as Calvin ends with a very spicy take about Kevin Durant!
Episode 55: No Soup For You! And RIP Wesley Johnson
While we have a bit of fun talking about J.R. Smith throwing soup and Wesley Johnson turning into a shooting stars meme, we also get into the Western Conference playoff race, which is as serious as it gets. Specifically, we talk Spurs (and are they in danger of missing the playoffs), the Blazers (winners of 7 in a row), the Pelicans (winners of 8 in a row), and also the Rockets (winners of 15 in a row!). Ten teams are currently fighting for playoff spots in the West, and we discuss (once again) who's chances we like the most.
In contrast, it's looking more and more like the Easter Conference top 8 is set. But who will finish where? And who do we think looms as a sleeping giant in the East (it's not who you think).
As usual, we finish things off with our Dude and Dud of the week.

Episode 54: Jimmy Butler injury, Anthony Davis's dominance, Zaza's goonery
We start things off with the Warriors vs Thunder match this past Saturday. First off, was Zaza's play dirty? And are the Warriors a "dirty team" in general? We then take a closer look at the matchup between these two teams and openly wonder about the Thunder's chances in a playoff series.
We follow that up by talking about some other dark horses in the Western Conference: The T-Wolves were starting to put things together, but now they've lost Jimmy Butler presumably until the playoffs. Can Towns and Wiggins step up as leaders and keep the team at pace for home court advantage?
Then, after Calvin called them out last week after the Cousins' injury, Anthony Davis has put together a performance for the ages as the Pelicans have won 5 straight. Can he keep this going? Just how scare are the Pelicans heading into the playoffs?
Lastly, we discuss Mark Cuban's comments about tanking and the state of the league in general. Is tanking good? Just a fact of the NBA? Can anything be done to fix it? We discuss that and more on today's episode!

After the trade talk (some of it), we get into injuries. Demarcus Cousins is out for the year with a torn achilles. We discuss what this means for the Pelicans and their playoff chances, but more importantly what this means for Cousins future and his impending free agency.
We then (once again) get into the dysfunction in Cleveland, but before that we talk about Kevin Love's recent injury. Is this a hill too steep for the Cavs to climb back out of? Listen in for our takes.
We also discuss the slam dunk participants, and finish things with the Dude and Dud of the week!

Then there is the Jason Kidd firing? Why did Milwaukee do it now? What does this mean for Giannis? And who do we think can come and turn things around?
We couldn't complete this episode without talking about #TeamLeBron vs #TeamStephen. (Why isn't it #TeamSteph or #TeamCurry though? Who calls him Stephen anymore???)Leif and Calvin discuss the all-star teams, who they thought has the better roster, and who would they consider to be snubbed (and also who they should be replacing).

Could the Warriors actually not be the top seed in the West this year? We follow up answering those questions with looking at the western conference overall. Who do we think will be the odd team out come April?
Lastly, we discuss the Philadelphia 76ers, who made a big trade Thursday afternoon by sending Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskas, and a 2nd round pick to the Brooklyn Nets for...Trevor Booker? What?! You know Calvin has to talk to Leif about this trade. Then we discuss Joel Embiid, both the internet sensation and basketball player. Is he quickly becoming the best center in the league? Calvin and Leif discuss all of this while their two favorite teams play each other (Lakers vs Sixers).
Editor's note: Calvin was very happy while Leif was crestfallen.
