Responsibly Anticipating The Bad Batch Finale and More
Tomorrow will bring to a close a beloved new Star Wars series. When Star Wars: The Bad Batch was announced a few years ago, I was not enthusiastic, as I had wanted something outside the Imperial Era. However, the more I thought about it the more excited I became. And the show didn't disappoint! From the moment it began I was hooked. With the finale tomorrow, I don't know what to expect, and I'm actually excited that I don't know! Join me today as I discuss the importance of being open to the direction this show might take tomorrow morning!

On this week's episode of our show, Captain Ingle and I and our special guest Justin Toner set a course for the 24th AND 32nd centuries and the voyages of both the Enterprise-D and the Discovery. The reason for this is that in addition to the classic two-parter episode "Unification" from The Next Generation, the story was given a sequel of sorts in the form of the Discovery episode "Unification III", wherein the story of the Romulans and Vulcans continues. Join us as we go boldly!
*SPOILER* Review of The Bad Batch S3E13: "Into the Breach"
As we approach the finale of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, we are gifted with a great thriller episode full of edge-of-your-seat suspense. As Omega "adjusts" to her new life on Tantiss, the Batch plots to find their way to the Emperor's secret laboratory. Rampart informs them that the coordinates are not given out even to someone as highly ranked as him, but that instead they must find a ship headed for Tantiss and steal its codes. What follows is a tense infiltration of an Imperial starbase...

Politics of the Prequels with Special Guest Eleanor Mueller
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Mace Windu and the Dangers of Dogma
The legendary Samuel L. Jackson has said that he wants to return as Jedi Master Mace Windu in some way. I personally would not want him to have survived his final fight with Palpatine. Why? Because I do not like Mace Windu. I'm not talking about acting, directing, and writing. I'm talking about a character so bound up in dogma that he has forgotten what the doctrine of the Jedi was all about. Join me as I share why Master Windu represents everything wrong with the Jedi Order of the Prequel Era.

Rest in Power Carl Weathers
I was about to discuss a different topic this morning when I was blindsided by the sad news of the passing of legendary action star and Greef Karga himself, Carl Weathers, who died on Tuesday at the age of 76. When he was announced as a member of the cast of The Mandalorian in 2019, it seemed so strange that we had gone so long without Apollo Creed as a part of the Star Wars saga, as it seemed such a perfect fit. Join me as I pay my respects to a great star...

How Flash Gordon Led to Star Wars
Once upon a time a galaxy very, very near, a young filmmaker wanted to make a feature film version of the classic Flash Gordon comics and movie serials. His inability to secure the rights, while disappointing, caused the young filmmaker to instead create a story of his own. And the rest, as they say, is history!
