Let's Talk about 5G
Jeff and Nick talk about the misinformation and confusion surrounding 5G and its nationwide rollout. Hold on to your hats because this one gets pretty wonky. There's also some talk about the concern surrounding Huawei radios being used for 5G deployment and what that would mean for the US to have them in place. Let's be honest, it gets a little political and it gets into areas we aren't super comfortable with, so here's a bunch of resources that we used to talk about these topics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5G_NR https://www.howtogeek.com/428337/not-all-5g-is-equal-millimeter-wave-low-band-and-mid-band-explained/ https://hamradioschool.com/t0c07-rf-burn/ https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2018-10-04/the-big-hack-how-china-used-a-tiny-chip-to-infiltrate-america-s-top-companies https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/25/technology/who-owns-huawei.html https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2018-10-04/the-big-hack-how-china-used-a-tiny-chip-to-infiltrate-america-s-top-companies And now, without further ado. Please enjoy.
