Have you been the recipient of a random act of kindness? If so, you know how special they are. A person's life can change for the better through one gesture. In this podcast I reflect back upon life changing moments and consider how the 3 G's (gratitude, generosity & grace) can change the lives of everyone in a positive way. This is my gift to you for the Holiday Season. Thank you for listening! Pamela x
Everything changes. Change is the only thing we can rely on in life to remain the same. Help is always available if we're willing to receive it. In my last two podcasts I discussed phobias and anxiety - where I suggested several ways one could receive help including techniques to help oneself. In keeping with this genre, Podcast 29 is a guided meditation to help you reduce anxiety and panic. The meditation is a tool to help focus your conscious mind to direct your subconscious to reduce worry.
And speaking of change, this podcast concludes my first season. I'm taking a break to finish my book. Thank you for listening to my work. The podcasts are designed to provide increased clarity and confidence. I encourage you to revisit them time and again to develop new patterns of thinking.
I can't think of one person I know who hasn't experienced anxiety in some form over the course of their life.
According to Healthline.com, it effects are far reaching and manifest as: a sense of doom, panic attacks, depression, headaches, irritability, breathing problems, a pounding heart, loss of libido, an upset stomach (I say an unhappy gut!), extreme fatigue and muscle aches & pains.
Whoa! I've experienced all of these at various stages of my life. And given the life I've led, that is no surprise.
In this podcast, I discuss my anxiety and the various ways that have helped me. I do this in hope that my journey can help you.
Life will continue to deliver circumstances that cause anxiety, so it's important to have a toolkit at your disposal that can help you ride the waves in tumultuous times.

If you are or have experienced a phobia, this podcast will be of interest to you. Know, you are not alone. Approximately 10% of people in the USA experience phobias. They are more common in women than men. They are the most common anxiety disorder. In the UK, an estimated 10 million people have phobias.
Many people with a phobia don’t need treatment and avoiding the object of their fear is enough to control the problem. However, it may not always be possible to avoid certain phobias such as birds or insects (as they are plentiful) or flying… my mother-in -aw did. She was so frightened of flying she avoided it all her life. She wouldn’t go anywhere in the world that she couldn’t get to by car, boat or plane.
Phobias can hold us back from enjoying life. I recently read that almost 1/3 of people in the UK say their fear of spiders causes them to think twice before visiting destinations such as Australia, home to some of the most venomous eight-legged creatures on the planet.
In this podcast, I discuss my experience with phobias, personally and as an NLP practitioner. I hope you find my words helpful and it provides you with the impetus to seek help because it’s out there. I know this for sure.

This podcast is about the relationship between the conscious and unconscious mind. Why should you care? The connection between the two minds is powerful. We program into our unconscious what we consciously focus on. The unconscious mind dutifully obeys and will find creative ways to attain what you program into it. It perceives and feels and is a multi-tasker while the conscious mind is linear and thinks in terms of cause and effect. The unconscious runs the show. It holds memories, experiences, wisdom and insight we’ve gained over the years. It runs all our bodily systems. Yet is takes orders from the conscious mind. The conscious mind is the captain of the ship. Where we sail depends on it.

Our self-image is based on our beliefs, most of which are unconscious. Once we hold an image of ourselves to be true, our actions, feelings, behaviours and abilities are always consistent with this self-image.
In this podcast, I explain how your past may have affected your self-image. For those who want help creating a better self-image, I offer hypnotherapy in the form of a guided meditation to program your unconscious mind to create a healthier image that will serve you in the future.

Transitions in life can be traumatic and can rock us to the core. Often, they stay with us as a strong memory resulting in negative emotion that can take away enjoying the present moment. Just re-living the memory, we can get sucked into a vortex of unwanted emotion. To stop this we need to shift our thinking. A paradigm shift is an important change that happens when the usual way of thinking about or doing something is replaced by a new or different way. This podcast discusses love and compassion for self.
Creativity is the root of all invention, including inventing the life you want. Everything starts with a thought. It's the beginning of the creation process. If you can vividly create a picture in your mind's eye of any goal you wish to attain, you can attain that objective. Why? What you are doing is programming your unconscious mind to get to work for you. In this podcast, I provide you with a short visualization that can transform your life.
Was there ever a time in your life that caused you to be unhappy, to feel anxiety, anger, jealousy? Do you think of that memory often? Is the emotion still as intense as it ever was? Are you re-living the pain over and over again? How does that make you feel? Perhaps it's time to let those negative feelings go and make room for more joy?
Emotional intelligence begins with thinking about your feelings and how they may or may not be serving you.
In this podcast, I introduce a quick, creative visualization that can help with your emotional intelligence, to begin to discriminate between emotions and label them for what they are. By closing the door on negative emotions, you leave room to open the door for a new way to thinking to awaken to the best you.

What's the Point? In this podcast, I share my Point and how I define success as an example of how I found self-actualisation. Self-actualization is the realization of one's talents and potentialities, especially considered as a drive or need present in everyone. I share a lot of points in this podcast. I hope you find one that resonates with you.
Are you confident with the decisions you make? Perhaps you let others decide for you, thinking it's an easier way to go, yet something doesn't feel right? In this podcast, you will learn how to get back in touch with your inner guidance system to ensure that your decisions are in alignment with your VALUES. The mind is a powerful thing. One thought can change your life. A thought can lead you down the road to success. When we've hit a roadblock, often we've stumbled upon a limiting belief without necessarily be aware of it. This podcast raises your awareness of how you may be holding yourself back and what to do about it.
What you believe is what you become. Much of our thought patterns were programmed into our mind before we reached the age of 7. This podcast is designed to provide you with guidance and tools to diminish negative thought patterns that no longer serve you.
The mind doesn't know what is real or what is imagined. It is important to imagine well - to guide your mind towards happiness and positivity. In today's podcast, I provide you with a guided meditation to help you further develop flexibility of perspective through the power of focus.
With eyes closed, something extraordinary can happen as our imagination is no longer restricted by the boundaries of perception held by our conscious mind a lot of the time.
With flexibility of perspective comes the realisation to focus on good things that we have in life right now, not the hurtful ones from the past or an imagined future, neither of which exist at the moment.
This podcast is designed to help you shift your focus and master a different way of experiencing yourself to awaken to the best you!
Today’s podcast is the 3rd in my series of 4, designed to help develop flexibility of perspective.
We all want to be understood. And a person who doesn’t understand both sides of an issue, can’t relate well to the other and could cause all sorts of miscommunication.
Steven Covey, the author of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, said, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.”
Welcome to the second podcast in my Flexing Your Perspective Series.
We develop patterns of thinking as young children when we learn from our caregivers. Like little ducklings, we blindly follow behind the big ducks in our life. But what if the big duck that we are following doesn’t know where they are going? You could easily get lost.
One of the ways to navigate life well is to recognize the negative thinking patterns that your caregivers may be repeating from their big ducks and then decide to choose another pattern that will serve you. You are not your thoughts.
Today’s podcast will encourage you to recognize thinking patterns that may be holding you back from being the best you.
Welcome to the first of my series on "Developing Flexibility of Perspective".
Having an open mind is being receptive to new and different ideas. From my point of view, it is an essential component of a growth mindset. And a growth mindset is essential for success, however, you define it.
When we think outside the box, we are in creation mode. We can choose to react to life or we can focus on creating the life we want.
Today’s podcast considers why we think what we think, the first step to develop flexibility
of perspective. Flexing our perspective is to open our minds to new ways of thinking. To begin training your brain to live your best life.
