Who are you committed to? It's nice to be a rider, friend, or confidant to others but have you been what you need to be for yourself? Have you checked in on yourself lately? Are you helping everyone or taking care of everyone? Are you blaming others for what you allowed to happen in your life or are you being responsible for your actions and reactions? When was the last time you made sure that you aren't letting you down? It's not being selfish, it's about preserving self. Commit yourself to you and watch your life change.
Boundaries are needed for you to be the best you, you can be. They also assist others on how to treat you; what will and won't be accepted towards or around you. Create boundaries, write them down, and stick to them. Become the change you desire and everything else will have to fall in line or leave.
