మత్తయి సువార్త 10:19-20 "వారు మిమ్మును అప్పగించునప్పుడు ఏలాగు మాట్లా డెదము, ఏమి చెప్పుదుమని చింతింపకుడి; మీరేమి చెప్పవలెనో అది ఆ ఘడియలోనే మీ కనుగ్రహింపబడును." మీ తండ్రి ఆత్మ మీలో నుండి మాట్లాడుచున్నాడే గాని మాట్లాడువారు మీరు కారు.

మత్తయి 10:1
"ఆయన తన పన్నెండు మంది శిష్యులను పిలిచి అపవిత్రాత్మలను వెళ్ళగొట్టుటకును, ప్రతి విధమైన రోగమును, ప్రతివిధమైన వ్యాధిని స్వస్థపరచుటకును వారికి అధికారమిచ్చెను."

"అప్పుడు యోహాను శిష్యులాయన యొద్దకు వచ్చి ''పరిసయ్యులును, మేమును తరచుగా ఉపవాసము చేయుచున్నాము గాని నీ శిష్యులు ఉపవాసము చేయరు, దీనికి హేతువేమి?'' అని ఆయనను అడుగగా," మత్తయి 9:14

మత్తయి సువార్త 9:15 యేసు - ''పెండ్లికుమారుడు తమతో కూడ నుండు కాలమున పెండ్లి యింటి వారు దుఃఖప గలరా? పెండ్లి కుమారుడు వారి యొద్ద నుండి కొనిపోబడు దినములు వచ్చును. అప్పుడు వారు ఉపవాసము చేతురు.

"అయినను పాపములు క్షమించుటకు భూమి మీద మనుష్యకుమారునికి అధికారము కలదని మీరు తెలిసికొనవలెను'' అని చెప్పి ఆయన పక్షవాతము గల వాని చూచి ''నీవు లేచి నీ మంచ మెత్తికొని నీ ఇంటికి పొమ్ము'' అని చెప్పగా,"

లూకా సువార్త 6:12 ఆ దినములయందు ఆయన ప్రార్థనచేయుటకు కొండకు వెళ్లి, దేవుని ప్రార్థించుటయందు రాత్రి గడిపెను.

గలతీయులకు 5:16
నేను చెప్పునదేమనగా ఆత్మానుసారముగా నడుచు కొనుడి, అప్పుడు మీరు శరీరేచ్ఛను నెరవేర్చరు. గలతీయులకు 5:17 శరీరము ఆత్మకును ఆత్మ శరీరమునకును విరోధముగా అపేక్షిం చును. ఇవి యొకదానికొకటి వ్యతిరేక ముగా ఉన్నవి గనుక మీరేవిచేయ నిచ్ఛయింతురో వాటిని చేయకుందురు.
