Dylan Mullins is a design leader with an impressive global client rosters. He spoke to Path Unbound about creative leadership, hiring, what can mid-level designers do to move up to leadership positions and how to advocate for the value of design in a business environment.

Silvia Script is a veteran design educator. She is a user interface and experience designer. Graduated from prestigious design schools, Silvia has over a decade of experience working for top design agencies. She shared her wisdom for students who did not graduate from such schools and how they can still stand out. She also shared her incredible wisdom as a design educator, a resourceful designer and a self-dubbed "French toast aficionado".

Dingding Hu is a critically-acclaimed and award-winning illustrator based in New York City. Originally from China, she studied illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) before becoming a full-time freelance illustrator. The way she got started in her illustration career is unexpected. She shared what worked for her and how sticking to her passion and not being strayed by the current trend created a name for herself.

Amy Lima is an emerging UI UX designer with an outstanding portfolio. She went above and beyond in preparing for her portfolio while still in design bootcamps. She also showed off her personality unapologetically in her website and proposed innovative redesign to existing popular apps. Learn from her experience as a recent bootcamp grad on how you can easily prepare for your portfolio when there is nothing to show yet.

Samuel Kang is a multi-talented designer. He currently works at Microsoft as a UX designer, but he also codes, paints, illustrates and design beautiful graphics. His portfolio site is truly one of a kind and he has some great advice for designers trying to stand out with their portfolio. 

Nithya Asokan is a UX designer at Amazon, who self-identify as a CX professional as well. We spoke to Nithya about her career path, discussed how she designed for emergencies and how CX affects businesses. 

Jason Tremblay stood out among designers as someone who demonstrates incredible personality and thought leadership in his portfolio. He spoke to us about how he routinely comes up with solutions to solve inefficiencies, what can be accomplish by being resourceful and alternative ways to stand out among the crowd besides having great work.

Sam Harper is a UX designer coming from a background of marine biology and filmmaking. He transitioned to a UX design career from a bootcamp and has been amplifying his voice on popular platforms like Medium. He coaches designers on career strategies and writes many thought leadership articles. He spoke to us on how he amplifies his voice as a designer and the benefits of creating content. 

Ronel Mor is a design veteran, design professor and now entrepreneur. He has decades of experience in design and champions the importance of design feedback. He spoke to us about his career, his new company and how he views the contribution of design feedback to the success of businesses. 

Eleftheria Anastasiadou is a former dancer and trainer. When the pandemic hit, she looked for a new path and landed in UX. She shared how she was able to "sort out" her love life using a popular UX design methodology and what advice she has for new UX designers. 

Sofia Garcia is the founder of ArtxCode, a company that curates algorithmic art and connects artists with collectors. She is at the forefront of digital art innovation and does it all on the side of her 9-5 job as a creative technologist. We spoke to her about career, coding, taking the unconventional route and balancing a side business with a main job.

Donna Carroll was a dance entrepreneur and apparel designer. When the pandemic hit, she knew she had to find a new path. She spoke to us about how she found her way into UX design and how our Portfolio School program at Path Unbound has an impact on her job search.
