Real Relationships - Family
This episode is part three of our "Real Relationships" series. Lead Pastor, Jeremy Flanagan, will be speaking on family relationships. He will explore how to have rich and fulfilling relationships with the people that live in your own home.  Bottom Line: If the Lord is truly going to be God over all we know, then we need to work hard at following His design for relationships in the family. It is a struggle to keep true cooperation and dedication in a marriage relationship. It is equally important to maintain a Godly model of a vertical relationship between parents & children. Next Steps: - If married, work to understand what negative direction you and your partner tend to default to when cooperation isn’t found. Push to keep the relationship as mutually submissive, not authoritarian or emotionally distant. - As parents, are you maintaining a healthy vertical relationship with your children? Be honest about how mistakes now can damage their character development & view of authority (including God). Scripture References: Colossians 3: 18-21, Ephesians 5: 21-25, 28, Romans 12: 9-10, Hebrews 13: 1, Proverbs 17:17, Ephesians 6: 1-4, Proverbs 23: 12-14, Proverbs 1: 8-9

Real Relationships - Vertical and Horizontal Relationships
Pastor Jeremy Flanagan continues the Real Relationships series by examining how we can use the attitude of Jesus to develop healthy, growing relationships with other people. He will challenge us to reevaluate the connection between our view of God and how we treat others. Next Steps: Understand your views on relationships. First, in what ways do you incorrectly view God? Do you bring Him down to our fallible level or elevate yourself above where you should be? With others, do you struggle treating them as equal? Do you tend to push others down or do you lower yourself in an unhealthy way? We need humility, not aggressive pride or emotional retreat.

Real Relationships - God
Through the month of April, Lead Pastor Jeremy Flanagan will be speaking on Real Relationships. What makes them strong. What makes them lasting. What makes them fulfilling. We will talk about relationships within our families, within our church, and our fellowship with other believers. We will dig into our personal view of what we want out of relationships. But first we need to talk about our relationship with God. God is the God of relationships. He has built us for relationships. He, Himself, personifies the importance of relationships. But before we can truly understand the way to best build strong ties to others, we need to focus on creating a strong relationship with God. Next Steps: Determine what things are causing the most fear & anxiety in your life right now. Decide what you can do to address them, then pray for God to handle the rest. Let God worry about what He alone has the power to address. Read Philippians 2:1-11 for direction on how to treat others and a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice. Visit the sermon blog for details on the Trinity.

Interview Episode: #1: Dom Hackman
Carrie and Mitchell Neldon sat down with Pathway’s Digital Media Intern, Dom Hackman, for our first Interview Episode. Dom’s workload has increased a bit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has helped lead the way in increasing Pathway’s digital footprint. Our hope is that this interview not only helps reveal a little bit of Dom’s personality, but also reveals how God has worked throughout his life to bring him to this point. Dom's story demonstrates the importance of always seeking God's purpose for life.  You can find some of Dom's photography and videography work and/or contact him through https://www.facebook.com/domhackmanproductions/.

Parables of Jesus: The Hidden Treasure and the Pearl
This is the final installment of the Parables of Jesus series. Pathway's Executive Pastor, Mitchell Neldon, teaches the Kingdom-minded attitude and action found in these two parables.  Jesus is challenging His followers to surrender the valuable for the invaluable. What are you valuing more than the Kingdom of Heaven? Scripture References :: Matthew 13:44-46, Philippians 3:7-9, Ephesians 2:4-10 Next Steps:   1) Read Romans 12 to get a better picture of what it looks like to sacrifice the things of this life to God.   2) Write down all the things that you can think of that stand in the way of God being King of your life. (busyness, comfort, fear, laziness, etc.) Send that list to a trusted Christian mentor or friend. Invite them to help you give up those things.
