Mantra Meditation for Inner Wisdom, Peace + Light Ep010
A soulful prayer practice to invoke the light of truth, supreme peace, inner wisdom and the light of consciousness. Today’s guided practice has been my primary mantra for the past couple of weeks as I’ve committed to my inner work, healing, and most importantly deep listening. When the world is intense and tumultuous, it’s especially important for us to rise in humility and fierce love. To be able to cultivate the power and presence to be with discomfort and intensity whether that’s arising within us or being aimed at us. Cultivating the light of inner peace within and a strong connection to your source of inner wisdom is important now more than ever. Today’s Sanskrit mantra meditation essentially translates to mean “I bow to the goodness within me, my inner wise teacher, the Self of All. The embodiment of Being, Awareness, and Bliss living within everything as its true nature, Supreme Peace. This energy needs no support, but sustains and supports all, illuminating the entire Universe with the Light of Consciousness.” This is a common yoga prayer in the Anusara yoga lineage and is a beautiful reminder to stay connected to your true Self, the Peaceful Soul within you. Mantra Meditation for Strength + Protection Ep009
Invoke heavy-duty divine protection, strength, and power. This mantra meditation has helped me reclaim my voice and help me speak my truth, it can also support you in sharpening your discernment, help you see and honor your boundaries, experience a deeper level of powerful, radical self-love, boosting your own innate feelings of self-worth, knowing your value and overflowing your fullness without feeling like you need to shrink, hide, or run away. If there’s anything happening in your life that you feel afraid to face or not strong enough to deal with, this mantra helps invoke a feeling of safety and supports all aspects of strengthening your inner sense of resilience. This mantra can be used to eliminate sorrow, obstacles and barriers. It has an energy that helps overcome opposition and grants self-control and self-discipline. Dum is a seed sound that amplifies this mantra connecting us to the feminine aspect of solar energy. Durga is the head of the divine army riding a lion which projects the energy of the protective form of the divine mother who saves us from difficulties. On a physical health level, Ayurveda says this mantra can strengthen the digestive fire and can be used to burn away toxins (ama) working at the tissue level. It also neutralizes any negative force projected at us, creating a protective shield, increasing self-confidence, reducing insecurity or feelings of lack of self-worth. Commonly used to overcome challenges and dreadful circumstances, but can also be used to imbue blessings of creativity and good fortune. Power of Prayer Ep006
What do you do when life brings you to your knees and you’re in pain, confused, and don’t know what to do? I’ve been there so many times, and prayer has been my primary transformational practice. I was never formally taught how to “pray” and I used to think I didn’t know how to but with an open heart and a commitment to inner peace and freedom, I’ve been blessed to experience the power of prayer first-hand many times throughout my life. In today’s episode, I will show you how you can heal your life and body as well as positively influence the lives of those you love. I will introduce you to a very simple, accessible way to cultivate your personal relationship with the divine so you can create a prayer practice that is all your own. You can create an individual relationship with God/Goddess, Source Energy, Beloved, Creator whatever feels most aligned and true for you. Emotional Intelligence Ep005
E-motion is energy in motion  When you repress an emotion, you stop the energy movement dead in its tracks and it clogs the pathways to health and freedom. What do you do when you feel sad, depressed, frustrated, angry, or fearful?  Do you avoid it? Try to cheer yourself up?  Do you, or others, make you feel wrong or bad for feeling a certain way? What if you didn’t have to feel or be a certain way in order to be loved and accepted?  Would that lift a weight off your shoulders? Repressing emotion causes dis-ease in the body.  Releasing emotion, feeling emotion, and expressing emotion in a healthy way creates room for healing.   Our society puts so much emphasis on how smart or intelligent we are - the IQ. If you’re getting good grades, achieving high “success” and reaching some exalted pedestal state that is worthy of your striving, you are celebrated. But this creates a major imbalance between the mind and emotions. Instead, when you boost your EQ, you’ll be able to harmonize with your mind and live a more authentic, connected, deliberate life, bring your gifts to the world without burning out, reduce conflict in our relationships. When your emotions are blocked or repressed, it wreaks havoc in your life and body. Today we’ll dive into the Ayurvedic perspective on emotions and emotional stagnation, how that affects your physiology, how that influences your stress patterns, and negatively impacts your health. It also negatively impacts your mind, preventing you from having clear communication, you end up feeling frustrated, stuck, and stagnant in your work, relationships, not knowing what is true to you. These emotions act as veils to us seeing what is most aligned and supportive for us. So we’ll peel back some of those layers today so you can understand how to transform negative emotions and how to tangibly create inner peace and optimize your health on all levels through this medium of increasing your EQ. My First Mystical Experience Ep003

The mantra for today helps you to invoke more Sat (Truth) Chid (Consciousness) Ananda (Bliss) into your life and awaken it in your body. It’s the fully saturated embodied experience of mantra meditation that is so transformative and uplifting. Mantra meditation takes spiritual intellectual concepts and helps you perceive them directly in your body so you feel it and know these higher divine truths in your every cell. Pillars of a Peaceful Soul Ep001
You can come back to the sanctuary of your soul at any moment to experience peace. So, why do we need these pillars? Why do we need to “work” at anything in order to have a “peaceful soul”? Simply put, we want to EXPERIENCE and LIVE FROM our peaceful soul. So, what would prevent us from experiencing that? 3 things. Welcome to the Peaceful Soul Podcast Ep000
Your soul is already peaceful. The problem is that in our human lives we taste fleeting moments of that peace in our soul, but we haven't yet fully learned how to really live from that place a majority of the time. We oscillate back and forth from stress, anxiety, fear, problems, challenges, and turbulence and then sprinkle in moments of feeling trusting, safe, connected, open, free, and then back to being overwhelmed with doubt, fear, pain, struggle, and challenge. Some of the reasons for this constant ping pong game are rooted in our physical body and our health, some in our mind and the way we think about things, and some in the way that we are living our day to day life within our relationships, how we spend our time and how we structure our lives. In today’s episode, you’ll learn about my personal healing story, how I overcame debilitating health challenges, including gut imbalances, PTSD and anxiety as well as some of my major realizations from apprenticing with enlightened master healers in India and the US.
