How to make yourself recession proof
In this episode, I give my advice on how to make yourself recession-proof.
Having been recruiting in my field for 23 years, I've lived through a few recessions/dips in the market; 2001, 2008/9, 2016 and most recently 2020. I've witnessed first hand those who were made redundant, those who kept their jobs, and also critically of those who were made redundant, which ones were snapped back up the quickest.
So whilst of course not foolproof, I give you my top tips on how to make yourself as recession proof as possible; both in terms of keeping your job, but if you do get made redundant, how to quickly bounce back.
