Their aim is to ensure that all of those affected by the sudden and traumatic death of a child or young adult aged 25 of under throughout wales get the important and integral support they deserve.
In February 2012 her young son George suddenly died with no signs of illness in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant. Days later, Paul her husband and the wonderful father to their three children, took his own life traumatised by the loss of their son.

The family were offered no support and were left to deal with the loss of both Paul and George alone.
Rhian is motivated by a desire to ensure that others would not have the same tragic experience after losing a child suddenly in hospital. With this new found drive, Rhian set up the child bereavement charity 2 Wish Upon A Star.
To date the charity has raised over 2 million pounds and is now an All Wales organisation helping hundreds of families every year.
Since starting up this life changing charity, Rhian has been recognised for her hard work on a number of occasions. These include the Prime Ministers Point of Light Award in 2015, the Halifax Giving Extra Award 2014, and, in 2020 she received the Pride of Britain Special Recognition Award.
