4: "When all this happened, which I obviously wasn't prepared for, I felt like I'd made the biggest mistake of my life". Donna Jackson, Digital Marketing Consultant, content creator and writer.

"...but if it wasn't for making that leap, when I went off and left Comedy Central, then going onto Living, going to Sky and then going on to this other company, none of this other stuff would have happened. At the time I felt like I should've stayed there. You know... everything gets easier. I could do it until I'm 60. It's just the most amazing company. But when all this other stuff happened, which I obviously wasn't prepared for, I just felt like I'd made the biggest mistake of my life. But then I look back now and I didn't make the biggest mistake, I just learned and grew up during that journey, I learned a huge amount of things, which I probably would never have learned because I would have only stayed at a certain level there". It has enabled me to grow". Donna Jackson, Digital Marketing Consultant, Content Creator, Social Media Influencer and writer.

Donna and I discuss working in television and its culture towards flexible working, going freelance, working around small children, having your life out in the open as an Influencer, how to get started in the digital world, being authentic when working for yourself, and so much more. Extremely upbeat (just like Donna!), an insight into a world which may be alien to you as it was to me, funny, honest, authentic and unmissable!
