Episode 11: The USMNT's Olympic March has ended

Episode 11: The USMNT's Olympic March has ended

In this episode, I look for the positive next steps for the US Men's U-23 Olympic qualification team members.  What can they take away from this tournament experience as they go back to their club careers?  Also, I preview the CONCACAF Champions League for MLS sides Portland, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Columbus.  All have difficult first leg match ups away.  Which opponents will cause the most problems for MLS sides?

Of course, I'd love to hear your thoughts on all of the above.

In this episode, I check in on the USMNT's CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying tournament, including the lineups we should use to ensure qualification.  I explain why the Olympics are the second most important tournament for the US.  I discuss my thoughts on the senior USMNT roster for this week's friendlies against Jamaica and Northern Ireland; look at the USWNT roster for April friendlies vs Sweden and France, and talk about why the USMNT should use two completely separate squads for World Cup qualifying home and away.
