I'm really late to the game in seeing Star Wars because I was so disappointed with the previous movies. My expectations were very low, yet somehow, Disney managed to underwhelm me with Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.
I'm glad to see the Hummer brand back. I thought it was killed off too early. And, I'm glad to see a true electric car contender from Detroit. However, there seems to be infatuation with doing things just because you can do them and a failure to understand what is really valuable.
It’s getting tough for everyone out there financially. I understand that restaurants are really struggling in many will not make it. But a lot of American families are struggling with putting food on the table period.
Everyone thinks they are responsible for policing everyone else to prevent the transmission of a virus. But when you show evidence that supports, knowledge, you’re just showing that you are the one that doesn’t know.
I like selling things that I no longer need on eBay. It’s a good way to clear out your home and raise some cash. However, eBay makes it easy to ship overseas with their global shipping program. But here’s why I don’t use it anymore.
It is really getting frustrating to me when everyone is weighing in about what should’ve been done in the past when it’s pretty clear they don’t believe it, because they would’ve been prepared themselves.
I love the show 90 Day Fiance. Apparently, the stars of the shows don't realize that their fiances want a better life in America. I'm stunned that they seem to discover this when they see how they live in their home countries.
I think the pandemic that we’re going through right now has a silver lining. The reality is this could’ve been much worse. And if you use this as a lesson to get prepared for the next one, you might have a chance when the next pandemic is brutal.
My friend Neal introduced me to the world of free travel and awesome vacations just by using credit cards that I would use anyway. He walks us through the process and the perks. To ask Neal questions directly, join our Facebook group here... https://www.facebook.com/groups/1641845479305970/
I just saw that a journalism school sent a letter to a news network saying that the news network was to blame for Miss information and poor reporting. However, I find it frustrating that organizations that are training the journalists are blaming their journalists.
The Detroit Lions have been bad forever. And they have changed absolutely every position and every member of the coaching staff. There’s only one thing they haven’t changed. And that’s the quarterback.
The government lied about the benefits of facemasks to prevent storages for healthcare workers. However, it seems like a lot of people are surprised about that and even pissed that they weren’t given the honest information earlier. However, I think the blame lies with
Bernie Sanders suspended his campaign for president today. That means he has basically dropped out handing over the nomination for Democratic presidential candidate to Joe Biden. Because of his friendship with Joe, he pulled punches and robbed his base and America of an opportunity.
I love the show Dual Survival on the Discovery Channel. He’s the real deal that all us tacticool guys want to be. So I reached out to Joe Teti and he was gracious enough to spend some time with me to discuss his time in the military and on the show.
There used to be a ton of stupid online pranks during April fools day. But most of that has seemed to disappear. I think most people are grateful that it’s gone, but I think the technology industry is to really thank for it.
So I understand there are extenuating circumstances these days, but the post office has lost a bunch of my packages, and a bunch of other people’s packages. And they are costing people serious money. If you want your item to get to its destination, use a different service.
During the coronavirus outbreak, a lot of people are being asked to stay at home. But for these people, it’s really just life as normal. And yet, so many people are being so dramatic about how challenging it
It looks like the economic stimulus bill has just passed. That means there will be checks going to many taxpayers. However, because our system is set up to look primarily at income, I think it means the distribution is flawed. And, I think we need to look seriously at a wealth tax.
I just saw an article that the Cheesecake Factory does not have enough cash to pay the rent on its stores. It’s being criticized heavily and people are cheering for them to go under, but people who fight for fair pay for workers should be happy.
News is breaking about how the government stimulus checks to individual American families will happen. There are thresholds of income based on previous earnings that determine eligibility which I think is the wrong way to do it. Here’s how I think they should issue the money.
Anheuser-Busch says that it will produce hand sanitizer to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. I don’t mind them doing the right thing, but I mind it when they constantly pat themselves on the back for it.
It seems like the highly profitable tech industry has talked a lot about wanting to change the world. But during the coronavirus, a lot of families are at home and could use the benefits of technology, but where are the tech companies?
Man, the media really wants you to fear coronavirus. As far as I can tell, it seems like all you can do is take simple precautions to protect yourself, and let it run its course. Even if you get it, recovery seems to be pretty likely.

News about the spread of coronavirus is sending everyone in a panic. I recently saw that many retailers are sold out of emergency meals. Here’s why I think most people are unprepared for coronavirus or any disaster
I love side hustles. My YouTube channel and this podcast are my side hustles. So I love discussing side hustles with various people and giving them some tips. But I was listening to someone describe their side hustle, and I’m pretty sure it’s the worst one I’ve ever heard of.
The Detroit Lions football team has the overall number three pick in the draft this year. It’s potentially pretty exciting to get a top-tier player. However, the Lions are considering trading back which could mean they are in a world of hurt.
I keep hearing the idea that there’s no wrong way to do something, and I’m getting kind of tired of it. There are absolutely wrong ways to tackle some things... especially if it means risking someone’s life or limb.
I was hoping that the Cadillac Escalade would be as intriguing as the new Corvette. But I think the exterior and interior design is lazy and demonstrates the same tired design language that Cadillac has been using for a decade.
When I installed the weather channel app on my iPhone, I was looking for robust and relevant weather information when I needed it. But the weather channel app has proven over the last couple weeks to be totally garbage. Here is the reason why it finally pushed me over the edge into rage.
YouTube keeps making enhancements, but I have a feeling that a lot of people will find them more cumbersome. One of my biggest complaints is that simply uploading new videos to YouTube is more laborious than it was before without any new benefits.
I walked in on NBC nightly news playing. And I ended up seeing a story about airlines charging a fee for people that are bringing on emotional support animals. Which ticks me off is how NBC misled viewers.
I just saw Bad Boys for Life, the final movie in the Bad Boys trilogy, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. This is going to be a spoiler filled review since many of the tributes to the earlier movies stuck out to me. I absolutely loved this movie.
I really like the movie Ford V Ferrari. I thought overall it was a great movie that will appeal to more than just car guys. However I think that the part of Carroll Shelby could’ve been played perfectly by this actor.
The Detroit Lions were terrible this year. They’ve been terrible forever. Stop blaming Lions fans and media for their problems. There’s only one entity that owns that responsibility, and that’s the Detroit Lions.
Every now and then, people come up to me with questions about how to start a business or where they can make money. I love having these conversations, but a lot of people are guided by the wrong ideas. Here’s how I try to identify people that I think are destined for failure.
I just saw the newest version of Little Women based on the Louisa May Alcott novel. While this movie is a bit out of my typical choices, I thought that they did an incredible job all around with this movie and it’s probably worth a watch.
I like the idea of using multiple layers of authentication to secure of your accounts. But I think - based on some of the long codes that I get to my phone to log into my accounts - that were missing the point of it.
I usually go to the rotten tomatoes site when I’m perusing for a movie. Their audience tomato scores seem to be pretty compatible with my preferences. But lately, while checking out the reviews of the new Star Wars movie, something seems amiss.
Matthew Stafford has been injured in the last two seasons but the Detroit Lions refused to put him on injured reserve. The fact that they just finally did it proves to me that they thought they were contenders.
Tesla just unveiled a new electric pick up truck and I think it left everyone disappointed. I don’t think the mechanicals or the features make this an attractive truck. And I haven’t even talked about its looks yet.
People thought that there was no need for an Air Force at one point. I think a space force makes more sense now than ever. Private companies are accessing space and we are more dependent on satellites than we think.
Man, I’ve wanted a real drone for the longest time. But I didn’t want to go on a hike and try to maneuver my drone through trees or catch myself on camera holding a controller. But Skydio might have addressed all of my issues.
It’s always great to see people being innovative and get the funding they need from every day people. But I’ve gotten burned badly before, and so I don’t use funding sites anymore and here’s why I don’t think you need to.
Maybe you’re like me and have had to enter really long, complex passwords to set up an online account. And if you have, here’s my take on it. I think password requirements are generally for a time that is long past.
I love shows about survival. As someone who enjoys the outdoors, I really empathize with people who truly put themselves into the wilderness. This movie, definitely exceeded my expectations in some ways.
Incentives are a funny thing. You do want to discourage bad behavior in the future but you also want to encourage people to do the right thing. That’s why I think the NFL got the Golden Tate situation wrong.
