Prior to embarking on a career in medicine, Dr. Babalola worked as a drug metabolism scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. She obtained her MS in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center specializing in Emergency Medicine.
