29. A Questrade Review | My thoughts on Questrade
The Questrade advertisements, the billboards, I know you've seen them all. But how about some feedback from 4 years of experience?
In this episode, I'll break down using Questrade through a Questrade Review and my honest thoughts after using them for 4 years.
One thing to note about Questrade that I didn't include in this episode is that they are not willing to make exceptions for requests. I guess you can say that they abide by the book. Reason I say this is that I have attempted multiple times to see if I could reduce my commission amount due to the volume of trades I place with them along with loyalty. Another attempt was made to grant an options level even though I was a couple of hundred dollars away from the target - but still, no spark.
Americans and their brokers have a great relationship where exceptions will be made for select customers and I thought I'd give it a shot - and that above was the result. So please keep this in mind if you're a bargainer hahahaha
