PGR contributor Peyton Williams caught up with Salem's head football coach Josh Watson to get his thoughts following the Greyhounds' impressive home win over the Warriors of East Poinsett County this past Friday. The Greyhounds displayed a dominant defensive superiority, defeating the Warriors by a final score of 42-6.

The win for the Greyhounds improves their overall record on the season to 4-2, having split their last four games after opening the season with two consecutive wins. With four weeks remaining in the regular season, Salem will look to continue their winning ways and make a deep run into the postseason.

Salem will remain at home next week to host a "Battle of the Greyhounds." The Newport Greyhounds will come to town as Salem will look to win their third game in the last four weeks.
