Organisations are not exempt from the impact of the pandemic as COVID-19 has forced them to quickly adapt to remote working. This shift presents huge risks to them. Since the outbreak, cyberattacks have increased exponentially, confidential data of several organizations compromised, and millions of dollars lost to cybercriminals.

Cybersecurity studies have also shown that humans are the weakest link in the security chain and with the wide adoption of the Work From Home (WFH) model, this vulnerability is exposed even more as employees are not behind the typical organization security perimeter.

Like never before, businesses across the globe have an opportunity to try out remote working amidst COVID- 19, and there are many views which uphold that the pandemic will support a remote working revolution. Data gathered in this form of trial will invariably promote or discourage organisations from this model of work (i.e remote working).
