Pinaystrology S2E8: The Astrology of Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen is a daughter born to Thai and Norwegian/German parents, a model, former talk show host, tv show co-host, cookbook author, wife, and mother. She is a Sag Sun, Cancer Moon, Scorpio Rising. In this episode, we check in, we talk shit, and we go in on Chrissy's natal chart. Paola tells us how Chrissy's Cancer Moon is loud AF, how much she LOVES food, and what it means that Venus rules her 7H of relationships and is in her 1H since her relationship with John Legend is pretty high profile and public.

Paola and Janice also talk about the shitty white guys news of the week, including, Ted Cruz leaving his constituents during the Texas Freeze, the death of Rush Limbaugh, and Pres. Joe Biden refusing to cancel $50K in student loan debt.

This week, we talk about Philippine journalist and founder of the media company Rappler, Maria Ressa! An advocate (and activist) for press freedom, Maria Ressa is a Libra Sun who has been documenting and calling for free speech, her own freedom, and the future of democracy. Born in the metro Manila, raised in New Jersey, educated at Princeton, and choosing to call home the Philippines, Maria Ressa has survived criticism and legal warfare from the highest courts of social media, the Philippines elite, and Malacañang Palace. She’s currently 57 years old and in a 10H profection year. Listen in for more!

In this episode, Paola and Janice discuss the glow-up of stand-up comedian Leslie Jones! After playing Pinaystrology Jeopardy, which you can play here too. They talk about the outstanding moments of Leslie Jones’s career including the Ghostbusters movie and how she didn’t even want to audition for Saturday Night Live, but gave them five damn good seasons. They surmise that Leslie Jones is a Scorpio Moon. Paola points out how Jones's astrology matches being a late bloomer, and together they read one of her sketches.

Pinaystrology S2E1: The Astrology of Drake
This season, Pinaystrology will focus on pop culture, and dive in to the astrology of selected celebrities to practice understanding their natal charts and planets. In this episode, Janice and Paola talk about Champagne Papi Scorpio himself, Drake! They talk about his success, and Paola names which transits are responsible for some his most notable aspects of his personal life and career, while also predicting what his 2021 might look like. Janice gives a brief history on bling, and analyzes the song "Hotline Bling."

The Planets: Saturn
In the last episode of Season 1.5, Paola and Janice are in the same time zone--one of two conjunctions taking place (we see you, Jupiter and Saturn)! They reminisce on the past and their Saturn Returns, and they catch up on how Saturn influences us to slow tf down. “One Has To Go!” Scorpio Season, Parks & Rec, and Mercury Stationing Direct on Election Day
This is our last episode of the season! In it, we catch up after two weeks, and we talk about how Mercury Retrograde got the best of us. We play a game that the internet created, called “One has to go!” And yes, 45 has to go, but also, this is a game that’s a fun process of elimination.
