Lads Before the Wind by Karen Pryor
Lads Before the Wind chronicles Karen Pryor's 8 years working with dolphins (porpoises as they called them) at Hawaii's Sea Life Park in the 1960s. She and her colleagues became pioneers in what is now standard practices of animal training with positive reinforcement. This book highlights some of those innovative techniques they created.
