A Pandemic in the Age of Too Much Information
Pharma and Antibiotic Culture in Trinidad
The Upsides (and downs) to a Post Covid Trinidad (and World).
Episode 5: Religion & Spirituality featuring Bol
Does religion fix problems for mankind or create them. On the one hand you have the inculcation of principles, morals and ethics that make up fabric of society but on the other hand history shows so many wars and atrocities carried out against humanity in the name of religion.
Can following one religion rather than another determine how you are judged and what happens to your eternal soul?
What is the difference between religion and spirituality?
Where did the scriptures behind world's leading religions come from? Are they fact or fiction? If they cannot be proven wrong by science does this mean that they could be true?
What is the difference between the meditation methods popularised in the west and administered by apps like Calm and chanting meditation utilised by the Hare Krishnas and most Hindus?
Episode 4 : Planass from Quarantine
Covid19 and how it's affecting our lives, the economy the future of the world
Gran Nobel Pisco 1
Could a virus like the current Coronavirus actually be beneficial to the world? The possibility of this was discussed against the background of overpopulation and destruction of the environment.
The drink of choice this time around is Pisco which is made in Chile and Peru. This particular one was the Mistral Grand Nobel Grand Reserva from Chile. It smelled better than it tasted (what she said) but still received a solid average score of 7. We all agreed that we would drink it again but not buy it.
In this fairly open ended episode we allowed the topics to simply segue from one to another sometimes a logical way but most times not.
