Marriage is hard and being in love is harder. No marriage is perfect and we navigate what we know how we know. Here are a few lessons I’m learning (still learning) taking tips from the ultimate in LOVE, Christ. In my imperfect walk I discover that “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

THE BOYS show A HIGHLY X-rated show which in my book is basically PG-18 as is listening to this review so if you’re not 18 come back in a few years. This amazing x-rated show surprises you with a pro feminist approach where villains and heroes are questioned. I loved it and here I tell you why. To sum it up 1- vengeance is wrong 2- fear is an enemy 3- commercialism kills 4- caring is the real super hero & 5- dependence on anything is bad.

My mothers sister my aunt went to be with Jesus today. She lived a life of blessing and active faith. From her beautiful voice, to singing in the church when my mother and her other sister were young to being a wonderful wife, a beautiful mother. She was my aunt and used to wake me up with showers of kisses during my visits to her home during my holidays. Many of the ways I show love to my daughter is inspired by the way she loved me.
