We have lost so much and whether you realize it or not, you’ve been in mourning mode and sweetie… You gotta grieve. And that’s from the Queen of grief herself. Find your banana and chocolate ensure shake, it just might keep you alive.

Who you know wake up the evening of after having brain surgery to pay rent? Then up 4 days later walking around? And walking OUT the hospital on day 14??? God's favorite, that's who. 14 days in the neuro-intensive care unit and I became the nurses and doctor's fav too. Recovery was tough, but my God was tougher. Hear all about it. 

If you never seen a miracle, babyyy, THIS is what it looks like. I always knew God had His hands all over my life, but after a miraculous recovery that even the doctors and nurses couldn't believe, you can't tell me I'm not one of God's favorites! On April 3rd, I experienced a 'thunderclap headache,' what I later learned is the severe headache that peaks in 1 minute and indicates that you are experiencing a life-threatening condition: In my case, bleeding on the brain. BUT GOD. 

A Love Letter to My Brother. I gave the eulogy at Travis's funeral but I was still honestly reeling, still searching for the words I'd thought would never come. But, in time, when the pain begin to let up to where I could think about the good, I remembered all Travis was to me. To us. I miss you SO much brother. 2 years and the emptiness still feels just as gigantic. I love you forever. 

We taking it back to 2020 when my world stopped and I lost my blood brother, Travis. Amid an already, all-too-painful summer 2020, that L was one that truly turned the summer sour for me. Coldest summer I ever seen. But 2 years, a lot of tears, a lot of healing and hurting, the creation of 'Trav's World', some more trauma (girl, WHEW), and a lot of progress later, I'm here to talk about Travis and hopefully inspire someone else who may be grieving such a close and personal loss that it really. does. get. better... I promise. Not instantly. Not tomorrow. Not even next month or next year, maybe. But in time. Your time. Stay encouraged, stay prayed up, and stay surrounded with people who'll pray for you when you can't even pray for yourself.
