Episode 52: Teenage Negro Ninja Thrashers
Many comic book fans know Dwayne McDuffie as a comic book writer and the creative mind behind animated shows like "Justice League," "Justice League Unlimited" and "Ben 10 Alien Force." Some also known him as one of the founding father's of Milestone Comics. But did you know that in December 12, 1989, he made a pitch to Marvel Comics about a group of African-American teenagers possessing "cosmic-powered skateboards?" Enter the "Teenage Negro Ninja Thrashers" the comic that never was.  I give you my commentary/monologue on Dwayne McDuffie's spoof comic pitch/proposal of the comic "Teenage Negro Ninja Thrashers." Personally, I think this pitch was pure genius and it shows McDuffies wit and humor.  If you like this podcast, please follow me on Twitter at:  @earth16podcast @brianofearth16 ...and Instagram:  @earth16comics @brianfromearth16
