Michael Trinh | Future of Synthetic Biology, Fanzor Eukaryotic Gene Editors, and Advice for Students
Today I am very excited to be welcoming a guide, a scientist, a bioengineer, a genius, and an incredible person Michael Trinh. His vision is to apply the principles of synthetic biology to design the next generation of immunology. He is currently an undergraduate research fellow at the Brain Repair Lab at the University of Toronto. He was the cofounder of Nucleate Dojo a community and training ground for the next generation of undergraduate life science innovators. Michael was also involved in exciting research in the Fanzor family of proteins, a new gene-editing technology that has big implications for the future of synthetic biology. This podcast was surreal for me. I learned a lot from Michael and I hope you will too. We are going to have a part two release in a couple weeks so stay tuned.
