And then it comes the time where we have to talk about a topic that everyone in Portugal has strong feelings about... Football.

Our guest Imari has worked as a trainer for youth squads, with experience at Porto FC and Rio Ave, he comes from the US and after some experience in India and Brazil, he chose Portugal as the place to settle for the time being. After coming to Lisbon in 2015, he then decided to do a course in High Performance Training at the Faculty of Sports at Universidade do Porto.

He shares a few stories about his career and tells us why Porto is such a great place to live and study. A very insightful chat about sports, football, university and much more.

Many students choose Porto for their Erasmus, but there are a lot of them who decide to enroll in one of the several universities in the city.

Daan comes from the Netherlands and decided to do a master's degree in Communication Sciences at Universidade Fernando Pessoa.

He tells us why he chose Porto and gives a few ideas for those who are considering joining him.

Volunteering is a learning experience just as much as studying. 

Maria talks to us about her own experience as a volunteer in Angola with Gas'África and in Porto with Just a Change and how life-changing and rewarding it was for her to be a part of it.

In this episode, our guest is Ludmila from Brazil, who came  in Porto to study and ended becoming the president of the Erasmus  Student Network.

She tells her story, how she loved her Erasmus so much that she decided to get involved in the association and how the ESN helps visiting students every day.

We  get an insight into the life of a visiting student during confinement,  how she got discover the city during this time and what are the best  ways to have a social life during a pandemic.
