Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared is a YouTube series that is made to look like a children’s puppet show full of life lessons, BUT this “kids TV show” has a deeper, darker meaning. Each episode seems to end on a random note of absurdity, when in reality the creators are trying to reveal the hard truths of Hollywood and kids television...

It's that time of the year again... When George Lucas and his followers try to forget about the meme that is The Star Wars Holiday Special. Released by CBS on November 17, 1978, the holiday special was a tale of Chewbacca trying to make it home in time to celebrate the Wookie holiday "Life Day". The TV special - aimed to bring in tons of revenue and excitement for the Star Wars franchise - turned into a major embarrassment after an hour and a half of monotonous television performed in a variety show setting. This piece of Star Wars history cannot be described in writing format, but a couple things you can expect when digging up this comedic treasure: SINGING Carrie Fisher, over 30 minutes of Wookie dialogue WITHOUT subtitles, and cringy skits that will legitimately scare you. So without further ado, Pod Wars presents The Star Wars Holiday Special.
