Zakiyyah Dzukogi

She is a winner of Brigitte Poirson Poetry Prize, 2021 as well as the Splendors of Dawn Poetry Prize, 2019. Ali Mamman Lawan

Ali Mamman Lawan reads My First Son is Pain, and The House. Ali Mamman Lawan was born in Nigeria, Kano state,  but has his origin from Yusufari, Yobe State. He attended John Gulson Primary School in Coventry, UK and was later enrolled in Musa Iliasu College, Kano after his return to Nigeria. He emerged as the best graduating student and successfully launched his first novel titled, “Tears on a Red Rose” on his graduation day. He is currently an accounting student at Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) He likes to read, write, travel and play video games. Besides being a young published author, Ali is also a poet and a spoken word artist who likes to take the stage. He is a member of various poetry and writing platforms including For the Love of Poetry (FLP), Young Creative Writers (YCW), Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), and Poetic Wednesdays amongst others.

Naseeba Babale

She was one of the judges of the Nigerian Students Poetry Prize, 2020 organized by Poets In Nigeria. She was a co-organizer of TEDxAminuKanoWay. A graduate of Bayero University, Kano, Naseeba is a lover of arts and a columnist for Konya Shams Rumi. She hails from the Kano State of Nigeria.
