Bio: Tera is an entrepreneur and High School Special Education Teacher currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. She started pole dancing 2010 after a friend invited her to join a class. In 2013, she started competing in regional pole dance competitions and teaching pole dance in the local Atlanta area. In 2016, Tera started Work It Girl Fitness whose mission is to empower women to feel sexy, confident, and healthy through pole dance and twerk classes.

Bio: Jade the Serpent is a pole athlete, performer and choreographer with a passion for storytelling. Having never fit into the mold of having a typical “dancer body,” she carved out a community of her own when she founded Curvy Girls Pole - an international platform dedicated to celebrating members of the plus size/curvy pole community. She currently teaches plus size dance classes, storytelling pole classes and privates and hopes to inspire women of all sizes to share their stories and celebrate themselves unapologetically through dance.

Dancing for her has been a journey filled with exploration, protest, community, and self preservation in the form of solace and safe space.  She wants to share that journey and hold space for other people to unapologetically be their whole selves, explore their unique sensuality, and get a couple laughs off while doing it.

Her priority as an instructor (and human) is to build community and encourage a flow state in all we do.
