And the worrying thing about emotions is that sometimes we believe it’s more important to repress the ones we don’t like and only celebrate and accept the ones we do like.  We may feel anger and have a negative relationship with anger  so we decide to hold it deep inside of us and never release, talk about, understand or have compassion towards where it might have come from. Self Love Session 017 - How the ego blocks self love and sabotages growth. Ego is needed of course, but an inability to understand it can sometimes lead to sabotage. The word ego is derived from the Ancient Greek meaning “I” it’s related to our identity as in many ways. There is no problem with the ego itself, the problem is humans have is our over attachment to it.  The problem arises when the ego gets unhappy- it either becomes dissatisfied with the appearance of the body, the possessions we have, the relationship we’re in or the thoughts in our mind. When we attach ourselves to these things they can limit us, create blocks and stop us from enjoying life fully. Self Love Session 002 - 4 Steps To Forgiveness.
"If you can’t see good in all, you can’t see good at all." In this Episode I dig into the subject of forgiveness. Forgiveness is a healing tool but can often be the hardest to address in the podcast I go through it all and give you a 4 Step Framework I use. This is the first step to self worth  1. Identify Baggage  Make a list of resentments and hurt that  are effecting your joy then sit still for 5 minutes, eyes closed and do this process:  2. Visualise the source  - Imagine the person, even if the person is you, you need to forgive yourself as well. - Explain why you feel hurt  3. Hear the explanation  - listen to the explanation  4. Let go Using the exhale, let go of bitterness, guilt, anger.  As first this might be hard, but keep doing it for 1 week- 40 days.
