It's the season finally of the Politics...Or Something podcast! A lot has happened in the 4 months since the episode first began and a lot is leading up to some big things come next year. Join Devin and Tyler as they review some of the topics discussed this season, some related updates to all of them, as well as some insights into the podcast itself and the future of it as preparations for the next season are underway!

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler are discussing Russia and some of its recent history. Ever since the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia has gone through many changes while hyping up its already time-proven name. However, Russia is no stranger to controversy, especially in the U.S., and with the recent excitement brewing between them and Ukraine, worldwide tensions are high. Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss Russia and its interesting history, the recent developments between it and Ukraine, and even a closer look as to why Russia is the way it is today.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler are discussing inflation. As of the last year, inflation in the United States has gone up by 6.2%, a massive increase over the recommended 1% or less. It's not just the U.S. either; many countries around the world are suffering from similar numbers. Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss the many reasons why it's so bad, potential fixes to them, and other related matters.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler discuss the recently closed court case of Kyle Rittenhouse. On Friday, November 19th, 2021, Rittenhouse was found not guilty of all charges against him for the events that transpired at a Black Lives Matter riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin. With this case being the largest self-defense case in a long while, there is a lot to discuss, from the events that led up to the incident, the court proceedings, and even a lot of misinformation floating around. Join Devin and Tyler as they tackle all of these topics and shed some light on not only subject at hand, but also on some of the dangers of violence, misinformation, and blind faith.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler are discussing the recently passed Infrastructure bill. In previous episodes, the bill was eluded to and used as an example, but now that it is actually passed, there is a lot to talk about. With it comes a lot of support for local infrastructures, like roads, bridges, etc., however the road to get to this point was not easy, with changes, debates for months, and eventually returning back to form. And even so, there are things to the bill that people may not even realize. Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss the bill in detail, including budgets, changes, and popularity, as well as the overall impact the bill will have on America moving forward.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler discuss the recent Virginial gubernatorial election. The election has shown some very interesting trends when it comes to the Democrat and Republican parties, namely that the Republican party is pulling ahead in popularity. Many factors have gone into this, but the main idea is that everyone now is asking the questions why and how? Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss the results of the election, the reasonings behind it, and the effect these results can have on elections moving forward.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler continue their discussion on the ever declining relation of China with the U.S., Taiwan, and Australia, but now with a massive escalation. With President Biden recently stating that the U.S. will defend Taiwan in the case of Chinese invasion, effectively throwing strategic ambiguity out of the water, China has not been happy with the U.S. or Taiwan. With China still believing that Taiwan is a part of China due to the "one China" policy, this has been recognized as an invasion by the U.S. What will happen next doesn't sound good for anyone. Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss the implications and repercussions of the United State's actions as well as the overall declining stability of China as a country.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler are discussing guns. Big guns, little guns, all can be pretty dangerous, and is thus the target of a lot of modern controversy. It's only made worse when accidents and killings involving these weapons occur, especially at the hands of famous celebrities, such as with the recent incident with Alec Baldwin. Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss current events and laws regarding firearms, amendment rights and interpretations, and even personal experiences with school shootings and guns in general.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler are discussing Congress. Being the center of the Legislative branch of the U.S. government, it holds a lot of power when determining the laws of the land. Despite this, there are many things that make it not only slow and borderline unproductive, but also make it almost unnoteworthy to the eyes of most Americans. Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss the overall structure of Congress, its processes, and its influence over the country, as well as related matters such as attention with respect to the president and current bills being reviewed.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler follow up on last episodes topics and focuses on the other side of the argument: China. Needless to say, China is not very happy about Australia preparing submarines for defense against China, however, there seems to be other problems China has yet to work out, between internal rebellious states, international conflicts with the rest of the world, especially with the U.S., and Taiwan still wanting to be its own China, much to the dismay of mainland China, all among other things. Join Devin and Tyler as they discuss these issues, how they came about, and what the future holds for China, and to an extent, the rest of the world.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler are discussing current relations between a few countries and France, more specifically the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Unfortunately, France has not taken too kindly to recent deals between these countries, effectively excluding them form the click. France's response to these deals are a worthy topic of discussion. Join Devin and Tyler as they not only discuss the results of these happenings, but also political relationships in general, the relation ship between the U.S. and France in the past, as well as the consequences of all of these countries actions in a slowly emerging new Cold War.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, Devin and Tyler are discussing some recent developments in Africa, specifically between the countries of Ethiopia and Egypt and their reliance on water from the Nile River. Due to their own interests in the use of the water, there have been some disagreements between them, to the point where a war might be eminent. All the while, the U.S. is placing tariffs on Ethiopia for internal conflicts. There's even word that China might be involved? Join Devin as he explains to Tyler not only the nature of the conflict that has been brewing, but also some brief history about some of the area around Africa and its significance to the rest of the world.

The world is in crisis at the moment, economically, mentally, and physically, and the culprit is none other than COVID-19, a type of corona virus. Straight out of a post-apocalyptic film of the 20th century, isolation is the norm, conspiracy theories are rampant, businesses are closing down left and right, and worst of all, thousands of people around the world are hospitalized, suffering, and dying. As we close in on the two year mark of the initial spread of the virus, Devin and Tyler discuss some recent developments, including the more recent delta variant of the virus, some of the conspiracies around the virus, vaccines, and alternative cures, and the overall impact the virus has had the past two years as well as the impact the virus could have moving forward.

In this episode of the Politics...Or Something podcast, Devin and Tyler are discussing the Supreme Court. There have been some significant controversies with them as of late with their allowance of Texas's recent laws on abortion as well as it's majority Republican make-up. Beyond that, it seems there are holes in the Supreme Court dating back to when the United States was even formed. With over 200 years of history and its immense power and influence over the laws of the land, there is a lot to discuss. Join Devin as he explains what the Supreme Court is, the latest news on it, and even how the paradox that it is miraculously came to be.

In this episode of Politics...Or Something, we're taking a look at the country of recent American controversy: Afghanistan. Between the civil wars that have taken place in Afghanistan for decades, the terrorist attacks on America on September 11th, and the events leading up to and caused by it are all of notable interest. And now, after nearly 20 years, the next biggest development is the removal of troops in the year 2021. Devin and Tyler will be discussing Afghanistan in great detail, including its history of power struggles, its significance with America, and its recent issues with the recent retreating of American troops. Join us as we dive deep into this topic and Tyler comes out knowing more about Afghanistan than ever before.
