Paul Krugman is a Neo-Keynesian economist, Nobel laureate, academic, author, and media columnist, known for his work on international trade theory and economic geography.

Considered one of the world's most influential economists, Krugman is renowned for redefining existing theories of international trade and either founding or co-founding several new disciplines in international economics, from New Trade Theory (NTT) and New Economic Geography (NEG) to models of financial crises and exchange rate movements.

In 2008, Krugman was the sole recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his analysis of trade patterns and location of economic activity.

Mojmír Hampl je již více než dva roky členem Národní rozpočtové rady, jejímž úkolem je strážit české veřejné finance. Od července 2022 tomuto nezávislému orgánu předsedá. Mezi lety 2006 až 2018 byl součástí bankovní rady České národní banky, z toho více než deset let v pozici viceguvernéra. V minulosti působil v ČNB také jako analytik. Před nástupem do NRR pracoval jako ředitel služeb pro finanční sektor v poradenské společnosti KPMG. Jako jeden z předních českých ekonomů často zasedá v odborných poradních orgánech, jako je například NERV, pravidelně přednáší na vysokých školách a publikuje.

Michal Kuděj je absolventem Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze. Specializuje na firemní finance a restrukturalizační procesy. V oblasti firemních financí, fúzí, akvizic se pohybuje od roku 1991. Je zakládajícím partnerem poradenské společnosti Tarpan Partners, v níž působí od roku 2010. Působí také na katedře strategie Fakulty podnikohospodářské Vysoké školy ekonomické jako odborný asistent a člen vědecké rady Centra restrukturalizace a insolvence Harryho Pollaka. V expertní pracovní skupině Ministerstva spravedlnosti se rovněž podílí na implementaci evropské směrnice o preventivní restrukturalizace do národní právní úpravy. Je autorem řady odborných publikací.

Maros founded LitFin in 2018 after spending several years as a business director of a successful property development company in Manchester, the United Kingdom. As LitFin’s managing partner, Maros handles its day-to-day activities, business strategy and investments. Lately, his primary focus revolves around LitFin SICAV, a recently established fully-regulated fund, perhaps the first of its kind within the EU area focused on the litigation finance industry.

In 2019, Maros was honored as part of Forbes' 30 Under 30, a testament to his entrepreneurial skills and influence in the business world. Furthermore, Maros is a Chambers-ranked individual for 2023 in the EU.

Maros' education includes graduating with distinction in law, which he studied in Manchester (the UK) and Lund (Sweden). His international educational background has played a crucial role in shaping his career and business strategies.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Maros enjoys a variety of personal interests. He is known for his love of swimming and traveling, however, most of all he cherishes spending weekends at his countryside mansion nestled in the hills, where he can relax and unwind from his busy work schedule.

Perry Mehrling is a Professor of International Political Economy at the Pardee School of Global Studies, Boston University, where he teaches courses on the economics of money and banking, the history of money and finance, and international money.

Perry is the author of The New Lombard Street: How the Fed became the dealer of last resort (Princeton 2011), Fischer Black and the Revolutionary Idea of Finance (Wiley 2005), and The Money Interest and the Public Interest (Harvard 1997).

He currently serves on the Academic Council of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (New York) and the Committee on Global Thought (Columbia University), and has served as visiting professor at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, University of Nice, Paris X (Nanterre), and the Sloan School of Management, MIT.

He has a BA from Harvard College, an MSc from London School of Economics, and a PhD from Harvard University. Professor Mehrling’s areas of expertise include money and banking, political economy, history of monetary and financial thought, and global money.

He also teaches the popular "Economics of Money and Banking" MOOC on the Coursera website.

Mr. Joseph Wassel is the Executive Director (CEO) of the First Responder Network Authority. He is responsible for overall management of all FirstNet Authority operations and the organization’s strategic direction, to include its unique public-private arrangement to deploy and enhance the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network.

Prior to joining the FirstNet Authority, Mr. Wassel served as the Executive for the Cyberspace Operations Directorate within the Defense Information Systems Agency. He is also the former Director of C4 Resilience & Mission Assurance in the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer’s office. He was also the founder and chair of DoD’s Public Safety Communications Working Group, where he led the Services, Joint Staff, National Guard, NORTHCOM, and other DoD partner activities for the Department’s public safety communications efforts, including Next-Generation Public Safety Wireless capabilities, Next-Generation 9-1-1 implementation, and Enterprise Mass Warning and Notification capabilities for DoD. Prior to assuming his former positions, Mr. Wassel served as the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Communications and Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

A retired Air Force Officer, he has commanded troops during several tours in the United States and overseas and deployed as a reservist in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as the Chief of Command and Control Operations for the International Security Assistance Force at the Combined Joint Operations Center in Kabul, Afghanistan. Mr. Wassel Joined the Senior Executive Service (SES) Corps in 2019. His military and civilian decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, and the Secretary of Defense Meritorious and Exceptional Civilian Service Medals. He was decorated for his actions during the attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001.

Krisztián Orbán holds master's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He is a former McKinsey consultant, a former corporate executive, and the founder of Oriens, a top performing European PE fund which owns companies in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Hungary. Since 2010, Oriens has been acquiring medium-sized companies to turn them into successful large ones.

Dan McCrum is a multi-award winning journalist and author. He is a member of the Financial Times investigations team, and has spent 15 years writing about business from New York and London. His reporting has been recognised with more than a dozen prizes, including journalist of the year at the 2020 British Press Awards. His first book is ‘Money Men: a hot start up, a billion dollar fraud, a fight for the truth. It tells the thrilling inside story of the astonishing rise and crashing fall of the $30bn German fintech Wirecard, and has been made into the Netflix feature documentary Skandal! Bringing Down Wirecard.

Barry Eichengreen is Professor of Economics and Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley, where he has taught since 1987. He is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London, England). In 1997-98 he was Senior Policy Advisor at the International Monetary Fund. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (class of 1997).

Professor Eichengreen is the convener of the Bellagio Group of academics and economic officials and chair of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Peterson Institute of International Economics. He has held Guggenheim and Fulbright Fellowships and has been a fellow of the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (Palo Alto) and the Institute for Advanced Study (Berlin). He is a regular monthly columnist for Project Syndicate.

Marc Faber, who studied at the University of Zurich and earned his PhD in Economics at the age of 24, is considered one of the world's premier economists and stock market investors. Known for his "contrarian" investment approach, Dr. Faber is renowned for his timely market predictions. He is also the author of an Amazon best seller, Tomorrow's Gold- Asia's Age of Discovery, has been a regular contributor to several of the world's leading financial publications, and is publisher of the widely read Gloom Boom & Doom Report.

Sumit Agarwal is Low Tuck Kwong Distinguished Professor of Finance at the Business School and a Professor of Economics and Real Estate at the National University of Singapore. He is also the Managing Director of Sustainable and Green Finance Institute at NUS. In the past, he has held positions as a Professor of Finance at the Business School, Georgetown University. Before that he was a senior financial economist in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and prior to joining the Chicago Fed, he was a senior vice president and credit risk management executive in the Small Business Risk Solutions Group of Bank of America.

Sumit’s research is widely cited in leading newspapers and magazines like the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Economist, and the U.S Presidents Report to Congress. He also runs a blog on household financial decision making called Smart Finance.

Aswath Damodaran is a Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he teaches corporate finance and equity valuation. He is best known as author of several widely used academic and practitioner texts on Valuation, Corporate Finance, and Investment Management. Damodaran is widely quoted on the subject of valuation, with "a great reputation as a teacher and authority". He has written several books on equity valuation, as well on corporate finance, and investments. He is also widely published in leading journals of finance, including The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, The Journal of Finance, The Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies.

Prior to joining NYU, he served as visiting lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley from 1984 to 1986. He was profiled in Business Week as one of the top 12 U.S. business school professors; he has also received awards for excellence in teaching from both universities.

Je absolventem oboru finance, účetnictví a korporátní strategie na Institutu politických studiích v Paříži. V minulosti působil například jako M&A analytik ve skupině Société Générale nebo jako investiční bankéř Goldman Sachs v Londýně. Od roku 2010 se profesně zabývá především transakcemi a správou aktiv na trhu nájemního bydlení. Na vysokých manažerských pozicích působil ve společnostech BXR Partners v Praze, Olo Asunnot ve Finsku či Round Hill Capital v Londýně. Byl také finančním a následně investičním ředitelem společnosti Residomo, jež v Moravskoslezském kraji vlastnila 43 tisíc bytů převážně po OKD. Poté, co Residomo převzala švédská společnost Heimstaden, stal se v říjnu 2020 ředitelem jejího akvizičního týmu pro střední a východní Evropu, Německo a Finsko.

Vystudoval jadernou fyziku na ČVUT v Praze a v minulosti působil například jako FEM analytik ve společnosti Mercedes Benz, jako vedoucí týmu v R&D Robert Bosch nebo jako výzkumný pracovník v Ústavu jaderných paliv Praha.

Nyní aktivně řídí investice fondu Green Horizon Renewables ve Finsku, zejména portfolio projektů větrných elektráren. Zabývá se i přípravou nových projektů a novými akvizicemi v oblasti on-shore větrné energetiky. Působí také v pozici předsedy představenstva developera větrných projektů, finské společnosti Winda Energy Oy.

Peter joined Goldman Sachs in 2002, was named Managing Director in 2003 and Partner in 2006. Peter previously worked as Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist at HSBC, was Head of European Strategy at James Capel, Chief Economic Strategist at Hambros Bank, and beginning his career as an economist at Greenwells in 1985. Peter is a trustee of The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, a children's charity dedicated to providing training and support for child mental health services, and is a trustee of Mitzvah Day, a charity that brings people together from all backgrounds, through Jewish-led social action. He is also a member of the Motability Endowment Trust Investment Committee. Peter earned a BSc, first class, in Geography from the London School of Economics in 1985.

Pan Wigley strávil svoji bankovní kariéru u Morgan Grenfell a Merrill Lynch, kde zastával v letech 2003 až 2009 pozici předsedy představenstva Merrill Lynch pro EMEA. V letech 2006 až 2009 byl členem bankovní rady Bank of England. V rámci jednání o Brexitu vedl také skupinu zástupců britského finančního trhu při diskuzích o konkurenceschopnosti Londýna jako globálního finančního centra. Mimo jeho další angažmá zastává i pozici předsedy UK Finance. Nyní také vydal svou novou knihu s názvem Born Digital.

Po studiích na Vysoké škole ekonomické se věnoval exportu a prodeji v jihočeském výrobci lihovin a ovocných sirupů Fruko-Schulz. V roce 2003 přešel do společnosti Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, kde působil až do roku 2015 na různých postech, včetně dvou let řízení zavádění systému SAP v pobočce v irském Dublinu. V roce 2014 absolvoval manažerský program na švýcarské vysoké škole IMD Business School. 

Do skupiny Home Credit International nastoupil v roce 2015, kdy během následujících tří let pomáhal vybudovat pobočku splátkové společnosti v Indonésii. Home Credit Bank Kazakhstan řídí od roku 2018. Je otcem tří dětí, ve volném čase hraje hokej jako centr v týmu HC Skif Almaty. Vždy se zajímal o místní kulturu, zvyky a jazyk a tak kromě rodné češtiny a v mezinárodním byznysu povinné angličtiny ovládá ruštinu, indonéštinu a němčinu.

Jan Švejnar je ekonom, který působí na Kolumbijské univerzitě v New Yorku jako profesor globální ekonomie a ředitel Centra pro globální hospodářskou politiku (Center for Global Economic Governance – CGEG). Je spoluzakladatelem Centra pro ekonomický výzkum a doktorské studium Univerzity Karlovy (CERGE), které se později stalo součástí CERGE-EI, společného pracoviště Univerzity Karlovy a Národohospodářského ústavu AV ČR, v.v.i. (EI), kde předsedá Výkonnému a dozorčímu výboru.

V rámci Národohospodářského ústavu AV ČR, v.v.i., který založil, vede think-tank IDEA. Dlouhodobě se věnuje studiu mikroekonomie, ekonomie práce a globálnímu ekonomickému rozvoji. Současný výzkum o dopadu působení miliardářů na ekonomický růst vyvolává živou diskusi ve vědeckých a populárních publikacích. Působil jako ekonomický poradce prezidenta Václava Havla a v roce 2008 byl jedním ze dvou kandidátů na prezidenta České republiky.

Vystudoval ekonomii na Cornell University a Princeton University. Je laureátem ceny IZA v oboru ekonomie práce (2015) a ceny Neuron za přínos světové vědě (2012).

Lukáš Vácha absolvoval Fakultu financí a účetnictví Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze a v rámci akademického programu studoval rovněž Universität zu Köln v Kolíně nad Rýnem. Od roku 2000 do konce roku 2002 pracoval v Conseq Finance, a.s. jako obchodník s dluhopisy. V letech 2003 až 2005 působil v České spořitelně, a.s. jako produktový manažer pro segment malých a středních firem, kde měl na starosti úvěrové produkty pro financování energetických úsporných projektů a obnovitelných zdrojů energie ve spolupráci s IFC (International Finance Corporation), členem skupiny Světové banky. Od roku 2005 do roku 2008 pracoval v ČSOB Asset Management, a.s., člen skupiny ČSOB, jako account manager pro institucionální klienty. V prosinci 2008 se vrátil do skupiny Conseq a v Conseq Investment Management má jako obchodní ředitel na starosti sekci privátních a institucionálních klientů.

Kateřina je zakladatelkou a výkonnou ředitelkou Verdi Capital a zakladatelkou a předsedkyní představenstva fondu Green Horizon Rewables, který investuje do solární a větrné energie. Před založením Verdi pracovala v investičních bankách na newyorské Wall Street a londýnském City, včetně JP Morgan, Credit Suisse a Goldman Sachs.

V průběhu své finanční kariéry se věnovala transakcím na kapitálových trzích pro korporátní klientelu a vlády států rozvíjejících se ekonomik. Také se specializovala na strukturování a akviziční financování pro private equity fondy.

Kateřina získala titul MBA z Rochester Institute of Technology (USA) a titul bakalář ekonomie na Slezské univerzitě. Je členkou organizace 100 Women in Hedge Funds a členkou dozorčí rady charitativní organizace „Dejme dětem šanci“.

Předtím než začal Marek Mora svou profesní kariéru, vystudoval VŠE v Praze a následně absolvoval postgraduální studia ekonomie v Německu.

V roce 2003 nastoupil na Generálním ředitelství pro ekonomické a finanční záležitosti Evropské komise, než začal o tři roky později pracovat pro českou státní správu. Necelý rok byl náměstkem ministryně školství a následně strávil 2,5 roku na Úřadu vlády.

Od roku 2010 působil v Generálním sekretariátu Rady Evropské unie – nejprve jako ředitel kanceláře generálního tajemníka Rady a od února 2016 jako ředitel pro rozpočet, daně a regionální politiku.

Členem bankovní rady České národní banky je od 13. února 2017. Od 1. prosince 2018 byl jmenován viceguvernérem.

Igor Mesenský patří mezi přední odborníky na M&A poradenství v České republice. V daném odvětví působí více než 26 let a za tu dobu pracoval na více než stovce transakcí. Má zkušenosti z tuzemských i přeshraničních transakcí, privatizací společnostní i oceňovacích projektů.
Igor pracoval na transakcích pro velké korporace, přední nadnárodní společnosti, ale zejména pro vlastníky malých a středních podniků napříč průmyslovými obory. Mezi nejvýznamnější transakce, na kterých měl možnost pracovat, byla privatizace Komerční banky, prodej sítě čerpacích stanic Aral nebo akvizice Innogy.
