214 Coffee Break: Help! I feel guilty for not praying enough for my wayward teen children.
You can get our 30 Days of Prayer for the Unsaved resource (mentioned in today's episode) for free at www.prayingchristianwomen.com/unsaved. Today we're discussing a listener question from a "Struggling Praying Parent of Teens" who feels guilty about not praying more for her wayward teen children.  Whether you have children or not, prayer guilt is something we all struggle with. Unfortunately, it's one of the tools the enemy uses to discourage us from prayer, or paralyze us altogether in our prayer lives. Join us today for a conversation where we unpack some of the hangups behind prayer guilt, and offer some practical suggestions for how to pray with more joy and power for your children and loved ones. We hope to leave you with encouragement and hope to stay the course in your powerful prayers for the people you love most - with none of the guilt! This podcast is sponsored by Faithful Counseling. 212 Coffee Break: Tips to help you feel more comfortable praying out loud
Take our quiz to find out your unique prayer personality at www.prayingchristianwomen.com/quiz today! The topic for this week's Coffee Break episode has been a long time coming. We've often touched on how difficult praying in a group can be, but we've never had an entire conversation dedicated to the challenges of corporate prayer, particularly for someone who doesn't like speaking in public. Prayer is a relationship with God and it shouldn't matter how you sound or what people think...but when you bring other people into your conversation with God, it's completely natural for there to be hangups initially. Whether you've struggled with praying out loud or in a group or not, you'll want to join us for this great conversation that will not only help those who want some tips for becoming more comfortable with corporate prayer, but we hope will also serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of grace and love when we're praying with others.  This podcast is sponsored by Faithful Counseling. 171 How Empathy Impacts Our Prayer Lives
Don't forget to grab your free scripture journal at www.prayingchristianwomen.com/journal today! Empathy (or lack thereof) can have significant impacts on our prayer lives. It might be tempting to think of someone with high empathy as more "spiritual" than someone who is less empathetic. But in this episode we also discuss how a lack of empathy has its own set of strengths in regards to prayer. Regardless of where you fall on the empathy spectrum, we have something for you in this episode of the Praying Christian Women podcast. Join us today!

146 Praying Through the Ten Steps of Forgiveness Part 1
Grab your free scripture journal at www.prayingchristianwomen.com/journal today! Forgiveness is an essential part of our spiritual lives, and more than that - it's a command! But it's not always easy. Join us today for a practical, hands-on episode about how you can invite God into a ten step process of forgiveness.  Here are the ten steps:  1.Acknowledge your anger  2.Acknowledge your hurt & disappointment  3. Admit what your fear is  4. I’m sorry that I....(what you’re missing)  5. What I really wanted was...  6. Gratitude (things surrounding the issue or “even though” prayers)  7. Love (prayers - I love ___ - even if you have to add an “even though”) Power in stating it before God. Go deeper: what do you love about this person?  8. Compassion - try to empathize with their side/where they’re coming from.  9. Forgiveness itself - review the last steps and move forward and saying I forgive ______.  10. Appreciation : the debrief - note if you feel different, appreciate the release, appreciate Gods forgiveness. The lid you put on this process.
