Precipice - Redefining success and helping people become more effective.
We are all about redefining success, young people have been lead to believe that success means having a nice car and too much money. We aren't against that, we just think that everyone can be successful - by being more effective and efficient in what they're passionate about. Precipice is about Redefining success and helping people become more effective at what they are passionate about.
Over the past few weeks we've spoken about how to:
1. Have a good goal
2. Have the right environment
3. Show up
And this week we are talking about rewarding ourselves. This is what makes a habit enjoyable. It's what makes doing the habit worth it in the short term.
In this episode we talk about showing up. In other words, actually doing the thing. You know, like Shia Lebouf? Today we talk about the importance of optimising for the start, not the finish and how important it is not to miss a day. And, what to do when you do miss a day.
Habits are what define who we are going to be in the future. Last episode we spoke about our 4 part Habit creation framework. This episode we talk about how to have a Good Goal and the importance of having the right environment.
Habits are what define who we are going to be in the future. In this episode we talk about what a Habit is, why Habits are important. We also outline a 4 part frame work inspired by James Clear that will help you either make new habits, or break the older bad habits.
Precipice is a project between to guys Ross Griffin and Mthoko Gumede from South Africa. We are trying redefine the stereotype for success and help people become more effective. In this episode we talk about who we are, what we're about and what the goal of this podcast is.
