S1 Episode 178 - Interview with Singer Dallas Walker
Dallas Walker has been plucking the six-string since his earliest days, but his ever-changing sound has taken quite a turn since he first found his voice. Dallas began his musical journey in church, where he fell in love with Southern gospel. After touring with a quartet for a number of years, Dallas formed Cross Hollow, a bluegrass band that he shared with his brother and best friend. The trio performed in various churches and venues across the south and recorded a couple of albums, which you can still catch on the Great American Bluegrass cable channel. Now an emerging country artist, Dallas Walker has redefined his artistry and taken a liking to the traditional, classic country sound we all know and love. His upcoming single “Outlaw In Us All” will be available on August 28th, which can be found on his debut full-length album “Another Outlaw”, coming late 2020. Learn More here:

S1 Episode 175 - Interview with Singer / Songwriter - Josh Gallagher
Josh Gallagher writes songs destined to root themselves inside your brain and bring you back to the first moment you heard them, every time you listen; he’s not just making music, he’s crafting memories. Doggedly likable and unashamedly himself, the Pennsylvania native has a ‘no-bullshit’ kind of charm, earning praise from the likes of Rolling Stone and CMT, along with some of country music’s greatest heroes. “This kid,” Garth Brooks said of Gallagher, “as soon as he opens his mouth — you believe him.” In 2016, Josh Gallagher forced the world to rear its head on season 11 of NBC’s The Voice, making history as the first country artist coach Adam Levine has ever led to the show’s finale. Since then, Josh Gallagher has proved he can hold his own on stage with Randy Houser, Eric Paslay, Lee Ann Womack, Cole Swindell and more. Gallagher’s video “How ‘Bout You” held the No. 1 spot on CMT’s 12-Pack Countdown for 5 consecutive weeks, where he was also spotlighted as a rising star through the network’s Artist Discovery initiative. In a genre with blurred lines and pandering hits running on borrowed time, Josh Gallagher has established his own distinct voice, showing no sign of fading away quietly. Following the May 2019 release of his debut project Josh Gallagher (EP), JG brought the country music community to its knees with the fall single and music video “Boots Like Mine”. The video ultimately led to Gallagher breaking his own record, spending 8 weeks at #1 on CMT Music’s 12-Pack Countdown. Following the enormous success of “Boots Like Mine”, Josh Gallagher announced the release of his sophomore EP Turn Around Town. Billboard premiered the single “Long Week Longneck”, giving fans a first glimpse at Gallagher’s sophomore EP. Turn Around Town debuted at #10 on iTunes’ Country Chart on Friday, March 27.  For more, visit— join the Camo Crew and connect with @JoshGallagher on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram!

S1 Episode 164 - Interview Darren Michael Boyd - Canadian Guitarist and Songwriter
They say that laughter is the best medicine, but for Canadian guitarist and songwriter Darren Michael Boyd, music has been the ultimate cure. After a life-altering car accident, the Ottawa and Toronto-based musician created his debut album, “Lifting The Curse,” as a therapy for the physical and psychological complications that followed the accident. Painstakingly writing, recording, and producing the 9-track album himself, Boyd only called upon outside help for one track, “Was It Something I Said,” which features drums by Emily Dolan Davies (The Darkness, Kim Wilde.) Mastering was done by Harry Hess at H-Bomb Mastering (Barenaked Ladies, Danko Jones, Monster Truck.) Watch “The Earth Is B Flat” at Watch the brand new video for “was it something I said” (filmed in isolation) at: Darren has toured and recorded with a variety of artists, such as Black Ju-Ju, Creeping Beauty, and Famous Underground (featuring Juno award-winning vocalist Nicholas Walsh). He was invited multiple occasions to privately audition for platinum-selling artist Fefe Dobson, and asked to write songs for Alice Cooper’s daughter Calico Cooper, and long time bassist Chuck Garric’s band Beasto Blanco. Darren received a scholarship to Guitar Workshop Plus in Toronto, with some of the best players in the business as instructors (Paul Gilbert/Billy Sheehan/Sue Foley). He has shared the stage with such acts as One-Eyed Doll, Wednesday 13, Yngwie Malmsteen, Stryper, Beasto Blanco, and Lee Aaron.  In the spring of 2019 he joined the Mississippi Mudds Theatre Group to play guitar for a
