S1 Episode 175 - Interview with Singer / Songwriter - Josh Gallagher
Josh Gallagher writes songs destined to root themselves inside your brain and bring you back to the first moment you heard them, every time you listen; he’s not just making music, he’s crafting memories. Doggedly likable and unashamedly himself, the Pennsylvania native has a ‘no-bullshit’ kind of charm, earning praise from the likes of Rolling Stone and CMT, along with some of country music’s greatest heroes. “This kid,” Garth Brooks said of Gallagher, “as soon as he opens his mouth — you believe him.” In 2016, Josh Gallagher forced the world to rear its head on season 11 of NBC’s The Voice, making history as the first country artist coach Adam Levine has ever led to the show’s finale. Since then, Josh Gallagher has proved he can hold his own on stage with Randy Houser, Eric Paslay, Lee Ann Womack, Cole Swindell and more. Gallagher’s video “How ‘Bout You” held the No. 1 spot on CMT’s 12-Pack Countdown for 5 consecutive weeks, where he was also spotlighted as a rising star through the network’s Artist Discovery initiative. In a genre with blurred lines and pandering hits running on borrowed time, Josh Gallagher has established his own distinct voice, showing no sign of fading away quietly. Following the May 2019 release of his debut project Josh Gallagher (EP), JG brought the country music community to its knees with the fall single and music video “Boots Like Mine”. The video ultimately led to Gallagher breaking his own record, spending 8 weeks at #1 on CMT Music’s 12-Pack Countdown. Following the enormous success of “Boots Like Mine”, Josh Gallagher announced the release of his sophomore EP Turn Around Town. Billboard premiered the single “Long Week Longneck”, giving fans a first glimpse at Gallagher’s sophomore EP. Turn Around Town debuted at #10 on iTunes’ Country Chart on Friday, March 27.  For more, visit www.JGmusic.net— join the Camo Crew and connect with @JoshGallagher on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram!

S1 Episode 164 - Interview Darren Michael Boyd - Canadian Guitarist and Songwriter
They say that laughter is the best medicine, but for Canadian guitarist and songwriter Darren Michael Boyd, music has been the ultimate cure. After a life-altering car accident, the Ottawa and Toronto-based musician created his debut album, “Lifting The Curse,” as a therapy for the physical and psychological complications that followed the accident. Painstakingly writing, recording, and producing the 9-track album himself, Boyd only called upon outside help for one track, “Was It Something I Said,” which features drums by Emily Dolan Davies (The Darkness, Kim Wilde.) Mastering was done by Harry Hess at H-Bomb Mastering (Barenaked Ladies, Danko Jones, Monster Truck.) Watch “The Earth Is B Flat” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VbNI5y054c Watch the brand new video for “was it something I said” (filmed in isolation) at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AIs9iv5yNE Darren has toured and recorded with a variety of artists, such as Black Ju-Ju, Creeping Beauty, and Famous Underground (featuring Juno award-winning vocalist Nicholas Walsh). He was invited multiple occasions to privately audition for platinum-selling artist Fefe Dobson, and asked to write songs for Alice Cooper’s daughter Calico Cooper, and long time bassist Chuck Garric’s band Beasto Blanco. Darren received a scholarship to Guitar Workshop Plus in Toronto, with some of the best players in the business as instructors (Paul Gilbert/Billy Sheehan/Sue Foley). He has shared the stage with such acts as One-Eyed Doll, Wednesday 13, Yngwie Malmsteen, Stryper, Beasto Blanco, and Lee Aaron.  In the spring of 2019 he joined the Mississippi Mudds Theatre Group to play guitar for a sold-out run of Queen’s We Will Rock You. The Mississippi Mudds won the Ottawa Faces Magazine Award for Favourite Theatre Group for that year. In the spring of 2020, Boyd was voted best local musician, and best guitar teacher, in the Ottawa Valley/North Grenville Readers Choice Awards. He is currently hard at work on a follow up to “Lifting the Curse”, with an early fall release in sight. Professor Pete Alexander provides stress relief tools to help hard-driving professionals overcome their self-imposed barriers to success using clever stress relief techniques. Stress almost killed him – literally. As the old saying goes, “shit happens.” Whether it be a dysfunctional childhood, rocky relationships, divorce, or suicidal family members, his personal life has seen its ups and downs. His personal growth path has been an amazing journey and he is grateful for everything he currently has. He is also grateful for the personal success he has experienced in his career he has had the privilege to work in a variety of Sales and Marketing roles. Each role had one thing in common: high stress. High stress to the point he was diagnosed with stress-related diabetes and also ended up in the hospital with a severe case of diabetic ketoacidosis, a few hours away from being comatose. He was physically, mentally, and emotionally burned out and it hit him like a brick wall. It was also a reality check for him. When you don’t have your health, not much else matters. He knew it was time for him to walk away even though he had a great job, secure income, and good benefits. Interestingly, his coworkers and peers were very supportive and the majority of them told him they admired his decision to put his health first before his career because they were contemplating the same thing. He realized then that it wasn’t just him, and now he has dedicated his professional career to helping other Sales and Marketing professionals avoid his mistakes and immensely benefit from the wonderful tools and techniques he has learned and experienced first hand. S1 Episode 157 - Interview with Hannah Anders - Winner of Los Angeles Akademia Award for Best Country/Rock Song
With an artist like Hannah Anders, you don't become a fan over time, you become a fan in a heartbeat. The powerhouse vocalist can bring an audience to its feet, while making you feel like she’s singing directly to you from the stage. Hannah Anders takes country from your grandpa’s front porch soundtrack and turns it into your daughter’s backwoods anthem— like putting fresh strings on a vintage guitar and revving a new engine in a classic car. The sweetheart-rocker stokes a slow burn with a shot of whiskey, giving country music a jumpstart that sparks a sound all its own.  Hannah clinched the Los Angeles Akademia Award for Best Country/Rock Song with her rip-roaring anthem, Turn It Up. This same song was also nominated by LOZ Radio for Song Of The Year, and held the #1 spot through the month of April on Australia’s Power FM Station. Hannah’s songwriting kudos were also recognized by the world-famous Dodge Ram Truck Company, who commissioned her to write the theme song for their newest ad campaign in Atlanta, GA.  Hannah Anders has conquered crowds from coast to coast and overseas, touring the UK and Ireland as the headliner of the Rednecks and Rhinestones Festival, in addition to sharing stages with the likes of LoCash, Billy Currington, and Keith Anderson. Following the 2018 release of her first full-length album Good Time, Hannah Anders dominated as the featured performer for Coyote Ugly's 14th Anniversary Celebration in Nashville, a headliner at KIX Country Festival, as well as a USO Artist of the Month. Dubbed “the ultimate summer 2019 mix” by Taste of Country, Hannah's current single Lazy River (Remix) features the legendary Big Smo. From Summerfest, the World’s Largest Music Festival, to Music City’s CMA Fest, putting on a legendary show has become second nature for Hannah Anders.

S1 Episode 155 - Interview with Singer / Songwriter Dariann Leigh
Dariann Leigh took her first steps onto Nashville’s holy ground with the single “Give Me A Minute”, which climbed charts all across the nation and eventually earned #1 spots on multiple stations, including The BlackSheep Network—the leading radio station for independent country artists in Music City. “Give Me A Minute” led Dariann on a national tour, and offered her a glimpse of the impact her voice can have on her listeners.  From enchanting industry veterans with an energy reminiscent of 90s country icons to being praised by the Midwest Country Music Association, Dariann grasps each accomplishment like fireflies in a mason jar, using the light to guide each step of the journey towards her dream.   For Dariann Leigh, this is so much more than just country music. From her one-stop town in Karlstad, Minnesota (population 713), Dariann captured the star power of the original women of country music from lyrics bleeding through static-filled radios and scratched CDs; even in the middle of nowhere, those melodies set the scene for a dream that would ultimately define the course of her entire life.  Dariann Leigh doesn’t just want to make music, she wants to write the soundtrack for hairbrush singers, dashboard drummers and air guitar players everywhere.           “As a kid,” says Leigh, “I remember closing my eyes, plugging my headphones in and listening to tracks that ended up being the theme songs to my daydreams. I want to be that artist for someone else.”  This sentiment rings true in her current single and music video “Wherever I Go”, available now on all digital platforms.   To stay updated on tour dates and receive exclusive content, join the fan club and connect with @DariannLeigh on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube!

An expert who leads by example, Edward “Eddy” Rodriguez successfully helps people overcome obstacles. Throughout his life, Eddy faced overwhelming challenges and met each one head-on and came out the victor. Every challenge arrived with unique circumstances. Eddy was a drug addict and an alcoholic. He started drinking and drugs at just twelve years old. He quit drinking at 20 while still in the Army and he conquered drugs at 27. He never used a program, just his strong will to survive. In 1994 he, his wife, and three of his daughters built a house from the ground up with no electricity for six months and no water for one year. Using only a chainsaw to cut the wood and hand tools to put it together. At age 48 Eddy’s business partner mismanaged his business and he almost lost that business. His oldest daughter passed away and he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. All this in a nine-month period. Afterward, he fell into a depression. He turned to the smile and laughter to heal himself from that depression. three years later in 2009, he lost his $600,000 a year business. In the next fourteen years, he would experience a widow maker (a 100% clog in an artery going to his heart). Colon cancer and surgery. MRSA as a result of the surgery. Gastritis, pancreatitis, a swollen gallbladder, and a swollen pancreas, all at the same time. Pneumonia. Stage 4 colon cancer diagnoses, (it metastasized into his lung). A blood clot in that same lung, many stays in the hospital, and much more. In that same fourteen years, Eddy became an international bestselling author, speaker, and trainer in overcoming challenges. Wrote two books, co-wrote in three more books, and was written about in two other books. Eddy hosted many events, appeared on national television, has been a guest on many radio shows, written about in newspapers, magazines, blogs, and more. Eddy also walked 2,000 miles from Florida to New York with only $200 in his pocket and no plan as to where he would eat and sleep each day, then wrote a book about it. Hosted an event named “Happiness in the park” and the Miami Dolphins hosted his event named “Smile and Wave America Day” two times during home NFL games in Hard Rock Stadium. Eddy is a diverse speaker, trainer, radio, and TV guest. Eddy will light up your show, event or interview with his excitement and lust for life. S1 Episode 138 - Interview with Richard Lynch from The Richard Lynch Band
You’d be hard-pressed to find a musician as authentic as Richard Lynch, whose traditional country music fully embodies his hay-raising, farm-dwelling lifestyle. An all-American, blue collar country man, Lynch has poured his heart and soul into the countless chart-topping hits he and his band have produced. His music is 100% real country, evoking some of the great classics who influenced him, like Keith Whitley. Conway Twitty, and George Strait. For three decades and counting, Lynch has written, sung, and performed his songs with passion and dedication, building himself up into an independent country music sensation. While his musical roots are grounded in pure country, his songs also showcase elements of western swing, honky tonk and outlaw country. Living the life he sings about is what gives Richard Lynch the edge as a singer/songwriter. Richard is a hard working, personification of pure country. He has been a designer and builder of amazing barns, and as should be expected, he is an American farmer. His everyday life and paying his musical dues by performing at 100's of events & shows a year, all across the country, is that which shaped him into a one-of-a-kind performer. Richard's style is true and it carries into his live shows. Much like his music alone, a live performance of the Richard Lynch Band is something you feel. It's something you carry with you when you walk away. If country music is a gift that sustains in our lives wherever we go, Richard Lynch is the messenger. Lynch, based in Waynesville, Ohio, released his first full-length album, The Last of A Dying Breed, in 2013, and was nominated as Best Male Country Artist by the Independent Country Music Association in 2014. His most recent album is, a 12-track production that garnered critical acclaim, particularly for its first single and title track “ A Better Place”. The Lynch album was named the Pure Country Album of the Year by the Academy of Western Artists, while Lynch was declared Humanitarian of the Year, and his band named the Traditional Country Band of the Year at the 2015 Josie Awards. A Better Place was produced by renowned songwriter Billy Yates, and features the work of several talented musicians who have previously worked with artists including Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and Reba McEntire. In September Richard was named The 2017 Josie Awards Country Entertainer of The Year. Also, his self penned "We're American Proud" was named Song of The Year for Songs Saluting America. Recently Richard recorded a duet with country star Ronnie McDowell. The single, “Love Tattoo” is a moving tribute to our military veterans. The was released to rave reviews in January. Richard released his third studio album on April 1st, on Fence Row Records and he is already climbing the major radio charts. "Mending Fences" is an incredible 12 track project of pure country music. The title track, written by Lesley McDaniel, Fost Daniel, Jesse Daniel and Nick Hall is an outstanding example of what country music was meant to be. Like all great country songs, it comes with a story; "Good luck on the new album Richard. Mending Fences isn't the product of a fancy writer's room on music row. It was written in a barn, on an extremely cold northeast Alabama morning while sitting around an old homemade wood burning barrel heater. It's a legitimate country song and me and my co-writers are glad it found a legitimate country singer"........... Writer Nick Hall "Mending Fences" also includes a stunning, heart felt duet with the amazing Rhonda Vincent. On May 25, 2019 Lynch released his fourth studio album to rave reviews around the world. This release consists of twelve self-penned and stunning pure country tracks. One very special track is Another Honky Tonk Song which is classic country and features a duet with the amazing Leona Williams.

S1 Episode 137 - Interview with Su Orosa - Counsellor, Supervisor, Transformational Coach, Trainer & Yoga Teacher
SU OROSA’S GOAL... is to help busy, professional women rediscover peace, joy, and purpose in life. A mental health and wellness coach with a background in counseling, Su has the knowledge, experience, and skills to effectively help stressed women overcome mental blocks that hold them back from personal and professional success. Su’s approach is focused, honest, and compassionate, which allows her to identify the right path for each client and offer them tools, techniques, and safe holding space. She supports her clients every step of the way, helping them to step out of their comfort zones and gain the courage they need to make changes in their lives. Her sessions offer a safe, non-judgemental space for women to open up about things they may feel unable to talk to anyone else about. But she isn’t afraid to challenge them to dig a little deeper. She knows that to overcome deep-rooted blockages and difficulties, sometimes you have to do the hard work of digging deep in order to make necessary emotional shifts. Taking into account the role things like anxiety, self-doubt, stress, decision-making, and judgment play in holding women back, Su looks to shift her clients’ mindsets. To be confident and ambitious, you first have to get a handle on the thoughts, feelings, and circumstances that seek to hold you back. Her three-month personal development program – which includes a one-day wellbeing retreat – focuses on all of these things, and has allowed many women to find the strength to overcome their inner demons and gain the courage they need to effect positive change in their lives. Ultimately, she wants as many women as possible to live their purpose, which means helping them to live their lives on their own terms and achieve their dreams. The trio, comprised of siblings Andy, Dennijo, and Chad Sitze, love to have fun when they are playing music – and it shows. This bond has carried the success of the band throughout the years as the trio has opened for the Dixie Chicks’ Natalie Maines, Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, TG Sheppard, among others. The brothers have also charted #1 hits on the bluegrass gospel charts as well as have had their songs featured in the 2018 movie “The Least of These — A Christmas Story” featuring Duane Allen (Oak Ridge Boys), Deborah Allen, and Tayla Lynn (Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter). That unabandoned joy and love of music comes to the forefront when you listen to the band’s new album, Every Dog Has Its Day. The trio’s fifth effort is one that the band is very excited to bring to the attention of its fans. Aaron McDaris who plays with Rhonda Vincent and the Rage was brought into play banjo, and much to the brothers’ surprise, he brought with him his 1934 Gibson RB-3 that was owned by Sonny Osborne who recorded the University of Tennessee’s theme song “Rocky Top” with that same banjo in 1967. One of Dennijo’s guitar superheroes, Johnny Hiland who is legally blind was brought in to play the electric guitar, while Stuart Duncan played fiddle. Those all-star names only add to the first-rate musicianship that fans have expected from The Flat River Band over the years. Again, Chad chalks that up to the undeniable bond between the three brothers that grew through a dozen years performing at Branson’s Silver Dollar City and five at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. And just as the band features some special guests on instrumentation, they also include some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths on the disc, such as “In Another World,” a co-write with the highly respected John Scott Sherrill (“Some Fools Never Learn,” “The Church On Cumberland Road.”). Telling stories – whether it be that of John or their own – is what the Flat River Band is all about. S1 Episode 135 - Interview with Sarah Griffiths - Sexual Abuse and Trauma Expert
In her book, “The Unlikely 7 Figure Entrepreneur” Sarah tells the story of how close she came to taking her life* in October 2010. Childhood bullying at school had left her so self-conscious that she couldn’t bear to live any longer. All of the negative self-beliefs she had were reinforced in her narcissistic marriage. A split-second decision*changed her mind, and she became determined to heal and change her life. She embarked on a long journey of discovery, both in business and in her personal life, as she launched her first business just a few months later in April 2011. Nine years later, she has studied and trained, and by using her own past experiences and healing journey, coupled with a precise methodology, she has developed a new program, 12 weeks to CPTSD Free, that uses hypnotherapy in combination with traditional talk therapy methods to help people rapidly heal from the trauma of past abuse and all of its debilitating effects. She lives in Perth, Western Australia, but by embracing technology, Sarah is able to help those who so desperately need what she has to offer, no matter where they live on the planet as her sessions are all virtual*. Her mission is to bring far more attention and awareness to the effectiveness and availability of methods such as hers, to get them adopted into mainstream practice, and also state-funded treatment programs so that those who cannot afford to pay privately can also access them*. She also wants to raise awareness that talk therapy is not necessarily the best or only option, and allow people to make an informed choice about the treatment they opt for. MORE ABOUT SARAH When she is not working Sarah loves to read and cook. She hates cruelty of any kind and to live in alignment with trauma and abuse-free life, she is vegan. She supports animal rescue organizations and child poverty programs. Her goal is to set up a foundation to fund the services she provides to those who are in need but are lacking the resources to pay*.

S1 Episode 133 - Interview with John Vento - Chameleon of the Pittsburgh Music Scene
John Vento is often called a chameleon in the Pittsburgh music scene; and, while his critics may use the term as a pejorative, Vento views it as a compliment. He understands that they’re motivated by the frustration of their inability to lock him into a specific musical style. After all, the front man for the high-energy, hard-rockin’ bands, The Businessmen, and the Nied’s Hotel Band, is also known for his introspective, brooding solo recordings. Rather than a drawback, however, Vento considers such diversity to be among his strengths; and his fans agree. They relish sharing his tumultuous trek toward achieving his artistic vision, which he accomplishes by channeling a blend of eclectic influences through his own, raw emotions. Helping to engineer the roller coaster ride is a stout core of collaborators, including John Randall Fox, Buddy Hall, Tim Hadley, and Frank Ferraro, along with renowned playwright/lyricist, Amy Hartman. Many members of this crew have been with him for more than a decade; and it’s easy to understand why, as Vento consistently showers them with appreciation and accolades. Though a one-of-a-kind performer, he professes a great distaste for the word, “solo,” insisting that, “Without my collaborators, I would not have accomplished anything.” That’s no surprise to those who know him, as he truly is a humble, loving, and grateful person, who treasures his family and friends. Certainly, that comes across, loud and clear, in his honest, from-the-heart songs; and that, undoubtedly, is another quality which endears him to his fans. As he puts it, “If just one person is touched in some small way by one of my songs, that’s the greatest reward that I could receive.” Of course, it’s purely logical that Vento would find a great following in this town. His steely resistance to categorization is the very essence and backbone of Pittsburgh. Built by a veritable melting pot of blue-collar workers, the once-gritty city has risen from the slag heap, through the smoke and haze, to become a sparkling, spectacular hub of culture and learning. Yet, it remains true to its deeply-forged identity. John’s 2019 MTS release is “Love, Lust and Other Wreckage.” The album received the IMEA Award for Best Americana Album. His single, “Rainbows And Lightning” reached the Top 20 on iTunes Canada charts, receiving national and international airplay and charting. His follow-ups, “Baby Blues,” “Humble Way,” and current single, “I Hope I Don’t Fall in Love with You” (Tom Waits cover) have also received national airplay chart attention.  John is a January 2019 Billboard Magazine Emerging Artist and a Communitas Award Winner for his work with non-profit, Band Together Pittsburgh. www.johnvento.com https://www.facebook.com/johnventomusic https://twitter.com/JventoM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y65K1Hu2uik

S1 Episode 130 - Interview with Atlas Cage - Multi-instrumentalist and Producer
Atlas Cage was born during the setting sun of a Friday night, one month after the Chernobyl incident, in an East German town that was still being covered by the ash that drifted in from the skies like dirty snowflakes. It seems only fitting that years later he would adopt a form of the radiation symbol as the marker for the Urban Hard Rock band known as “Strings of Atlas”. Part beat poet, part rock-n-roll, and a full time wandering soul, Strings of Atlas has been on the underground scene since late 2006. With several self-released albums (including the most recent success “In A Better World”), an independent film score, three short films, appearances on  Ninja Warrior and an amazing head of hair, he has managed to climb indie charts from Florida to Texas, garner some FM radio play, find inclusion in numerous podcasts and blogs and tour the west coast in his 1974 Chevy Nova. The first big break for SOA was with the album “Atomic Girls” which made its way on to iTunes, Rhapsody, and several other major platforms. He is also the host of the vlog “Strings Of Atlas TV” on youtube. In 2019, there were two very significant events in Cage’s career: One was that he began his wrestling run with the indie pro wrestling federation known as PWR (Party World Rasslin’) in Austin Texas.  The second was that he founded the indie record label and new home to Strings of Atlas, Sky Titian Media. Sky Titans' mission looks beyond the conventions of the genre, striving to develop artists who feel a deeper connection to people. It was established to act as an independent media incubator, active in the landscape of music, culture, film, and technology and cultivate creativity through connection, both with other artists and the community who supports it. For a behind the scenes look at life as it happens outside of the tours and studios, be sure to check out the “Strings Of Atlas TV” vlog, at youtube.com/skytitanmedia.
