Thea Ferdinand is a New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has used her credentials as tools to navigate different facets of the profession; crisis, inpatient and outpatient services. She completed her master’s education at Nyack College with a concentration in Clinical Social Work. She has been trained in crisis intervention, Motivational interviewing and the treatment of co-occurring substance misuse and mental health diagnoses.
The commitment to professional and personal advancement is demonstrated by her educational and business pursuits. While working within larger organizations at the present, she is preparing to launch her own private practice, which she hopes to expand into a clinical group. She is also taking courses to enhance her ability to lead as she prepares for the future.
Thea believes that aspirations for self may birth inspiration in others if fed diligently.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a BS in Animal Sciences, she became licensed as a veterinary technician in Alaska in 2001, New Mexico in 2006, and Wisconsin in 2016. Kelly became Certified as a Professional in Human Resources in 2010, completing her Masters of Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 2012, and became a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care in 2013. Kelly wrote and published “In the Middle”, a book for veterinary technicians in management and wrote “IQ Cronin and the Rainy Days” a travel book focusing on language, math, science, travel and culture written with her 10 year old and benefiting the Milwaukee French Immersion School travel program to help inner city French Immersion students see Paris, France. She is a national and international speaker presenting on leadership, management, professional growth, speaking and emergency and critical care medicine. She serves as an instructor for VSPN, is the CEO of Success Strategies Veterinary Consulting, Chief Advancement Officer at the helm of VetTechLife, was the Director of Denovo Operations for the Mission Veterinary Partners (36 + hospital group), and currently is Operation Support Manager with NVA for a group of specialty and emergency hospitals on the east coast. Kelly is an organizer of the VetTechLife CE on the Sea events.
