Today is the Season 2 Finale of my podcast series going page by page through my published book "A Challenge for the 4th Industrial Revolution" available at Barnes and Noble! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has followed along and supported me in this journey! It has been a month and half since we began this series and so to finish it off I will be reading through my entire book so you can see the complete picture from beginning to end! Then will finish of the episode by breaking down the contents of it's very last pages! So without further ado lets read my book!!! :)

Welcome to my new podcast season! Things might seem and sound a little different, but I assure you, you are in the right place…and I am still seeking to find the Beauty in a Simplified Life! However, if you didn’t catch my season 1 finale - let me quickly fill you in! I wrote a book! Woot woot! I have been secretly working on it over the past couple of months and it is almost available for purchase to have in your hands...so stay tuned for that! But what I am MOST excited about is to unpack it’s message that goes way beyond its pages bringing hope and clarity to our lives. How is this possible? Well it’s not from me...

As we go slowly through the contents of my book, I will first read each page or spread and will then follow up with my thoughts and observations on how it pertains to us living in the 21st Century.

Last week I started attending an on campus Wednesday morning Bible Study at my church based off the "Get Out of Your Head" book by Jennie Allen…it is a study over the book of Philippians. It’s funny because I had actually bought her book last year but as I started reading it I was like “uh I can’t handle that right now” and put it away! LOL! When I got the book I was actually in a "season finale" of a huge life chapter (episode 2) that I had been wrestling with and I WAS ALL UP IN MY HEAD! 

But God is faithful - and when I finally did surrender what I had been gripping with white knuckles, God began a work on my heart and started to rewire my mind as I shifted my focus from myself and my ways, to HIS ways…today's episode covers a pivotal mindset shift that can help us course correct and "FIX" our lives and further the gospel.

After 5 different attempts to record, 3 separate takes, and a GIANT thunder storm... I hope you enjoy this episode a day late!

Most of the time when we get overwhelmed and our thoughts are just a downward spiral of worry or feeling defeated it’s typically because fear or anxiety of something in the near OR distant future paralyzes us to where we feel like we can't move past that very moment! On this episode we talk about how we as women - single, married, and mama's - can tackle those moments, get a grip on the overwhelm, and then conquer the rest of the day!
