Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 5 - Practising Detachment

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 5 - Practising Detachment

In Chapter 5, Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna the importance of balancing life's material and spiritual aspects. He emphasises the need to perform our duties with dedication and sincerity, while remaining detached from the results. Renunciation, or "sannyasa," is not about abandoning the responsibilities of life or withdrawing from the world. Rather, it's about letting go of the attachment to the fruits of our actions and finding freedom from the endless cycle of desire.

In this chapter, Shree Krishna emphasises the significance of Karma Yog, the state of being selfless while performing any actions, which involves performing our duties with devotion and sincerity without attachment to the results.

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 2 - Seeking Wisdom

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 2 - Seeking Wisdom

This is the second episode of the Bhagavad Gita series and in this episode, we will try to uncover the teachings about seeking wisdom and clarity in the face of fear and confusion. We will discuss the significance of detachment from outcomes and the power of focusing on the present moment.

One of the key takeaways from this chapter which I like is that wisdom is a guiding light in times of confusion. By seeking knowledge, we gain the power to overcome life's challenges with a clearer vision, making choices that align with our values and aspirations.

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 1 - Inner Conflict

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 1 - Inner Conflict

This internal struggle that Arjuna faces reflects a very common human experience - fear. We often find ourselves in situations where our own doubts and fears become a battleground within us. Our minds can be a place of intense conflict, where we grapple with decisions, moral dilemmas, and uncertainty about the future.

Stay tuned for our next episode where we'll delve into Chapter Two and uncover the Path of Knowledge. Until then, take care and be kind to yourself.

Welcome to the very first Episode of Humanity ki chain, Mental Health Awareness Audio Series.  This Mental health awareness series was first published on my Youtube Channel.  It is a small attempt from my side to spread some mental health awareness and enable people to talk. The more we talk about it, the more we will be able to break the stigmas attached to it.  Mental Health is as important as Physical Health and it is not possible to drive a massive change alone, so let's join together and spread some positivity.   The first guest joining me in this initiative of mine is, Ms. Pooja Priyamavada, A single parent, a fibromyalgia survivor. A professional translator, blogger, and content creator on many different platforms. Hear her as she speaks about Fibromyalgia and Depression.  The link to Pooja Priyamvadda's Mental Health Book is here Mental Health: A Primer--  https://amzn.to/33glcGX Her Social Media handles: Twitter & Instagram @Soulversified Facebook https://www.facebook.com/soulversified
