Episode 4.3 Transition
Hello friends, welcome to the final episode of this special season of ProdActivity podcast. In this one, I want to talk about transition. Let's talk about the transition from entrepreneurship to corporate and from Edinburgh to London.
Episode 4.2 What is it like at Google Office
Hi friends! Welcome back! In the last episode, we talked about the journey of joining Google. In this episode, I am going to talk about a light and fun topic: What is it actually like working at the office? Let's start with the obvious ones...
Episode 4.1 Becoming a Googler in London
Hi friends! Been a while, 2 years and 7 months to be exact. How are you? Hope things are going well for you! Well, things have changed for me surely and I want to share these updates with you! Sit tight, grab a cup of tea, and let's spend the next 7 minutes together.
Episode 3.3 "Getting into new industry"
Today I want to talk about a dilemma I faced myself when I was getting this new role. That dilemma is getting a role in an industry that you do not know. So why the industry matter and what should you do, in my opinion, if you are in such a situation?

Episode 3.2 Entrepreneurship vs Employment
In the last episode, I updated you that I have started full-time employment in April. However, after 6 years of entrepreneurial life, I have had some habits that need to adapt to this new lifestyle. Now let’s be honest, due to the Covid we are still working out from home which means not a lot has changed in that area, but there is still some substantial change. In this episode, I want to discuss those differences. We will look at what means to be an entrepreneur and what are the reasons behind not doing it, or the reasons for running a business. We also will look at why you may like being employed and some downsides of it, which I am sure you can easily guess. Anyway, let’s dive in!
Episode 3.1 - Back into JobHunt (Results)
Been a while since we talked. I have been busy and in this episode I aim to update you all.
As you know since the last episode, I have been taking consultancy projects as part of GetGuided to keep myself alive and to cover the costs of the company. However, besides these vital reasons, taking on these projects was crucial for finding a job as a product manager. Did I get the job? FInd in the episode...

Episode 2.8 " Wrap up of Season 2"
Good Morning!
Another weekend, we are here at "ProdActivity", with a much shorter episode, as this episode will wrap up Season2 with episode 8 (said 9 in the podcast, sorry). In this episode, we tried to analyse the different well-known apps and websites based on the reviews of other users as well as, mainly, my own first-hand experience and review. It was fun, taught a lot about the apps and websites we are using. However, the next season will be different yet again, we will focus on Product Management heavily. We will go through terms and phrases and will have a sort of online Product management podcast-lecture. If you are interested, let me know and spread the word around. We will come back to product reviews, as well as what is going on with me and my career, back in season 4 and 5 again.
Thanks a lot for listening and as always remember to check Medium channel for the written and visual version and check Teespring link in the description for apparel by GetGuided. Thanks for listening, stay safe, talk to you later. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Episode 2.7 "YouTube Studio", the good, the bad and the features to add
Welcome back to ProdActivity! The show where we analyse and review software products/apps/websites and what activities can be done to make them better. Without further ado, let’s get started with Season 2, Episode 7:
“Youtube Studio” – the good, the bad and the features to add!
Today we tried (emphasis on this) to capture the analysis of Youtube Studio with my limited knowledge and I promise to come back to it with a creator feedback and redo this episode or edit this episode and add those remarks! Thanks a lot for listening and as always remember to check Medium channel for the written and visual version and check Teespring link in the description for apparel by GetGuided. Thanks for listening, stay safe, talk to you later.
Episode 2.6 "Anchor", the good, the bad and the features to add
Welcome back to ProdActivity! The show where we analyse and review software products/apps/websites and what activities can be done to make them better. Without further ado, let’s get started with Season 2, Episode 6:
“Anchor” – the good, the bad and the features to add!
Today we tried to capture the analysis of Anchor with all its beauty and minimalism and I really hope you enjoyed it! Thanks a lot for listening and as always remember to check Medium channel for the written and visual version and check Teespring link in the description for apparel by GetGuided. Thanks for listening, stay safe, talk to you later.
Episode 2.5 "WhatsApp", the good, the bad and the features to add
Welcome back to ProdActivity! The show where we analyse and review software products/apps/websites and what activities can be done to make them better. So, this episode is going to be short, as we are analysing one of the apps that is super minimalist in it’s design and does only one thing – and that is messaging. Without further ado, let's get started with Season 2, Episode 5:
“WhatsApp” – the good, the bad and the features to add!
Thanks a lot for listening and as always remember to check Medium channel for the written and visual version and check Teespring link in the description for apparel by GetGuided. Thanks for listening, stay safe, talk to you later.
Episode 2.4 "YouTube - landing page (desktop)", the good, the bad and the features to add
Welcome back to ProdActivity! The show where we analyse and review software products/apps/websites and what activities can be done to make them better. So, in this episode, we are analysing #Youtube, one of the biggest media companies in the world, if not the biggest. As you can see it is a massive platform with lots of products, tools as well as business models and, as you can guess, history of controversy. Even the core platform itself has lots of bells and whistles, therefore in this episode, we will focus only on the main page and video playing page of YouTube desktop. Without further ado, let's get started with Season 2, Episode 4:
“YouTube - landing page (desktop)” – the good, the bad and the features to add!

Episode 2.3 "Instagram", the good, the bad and the features to add
Hi and welcome to this week’s episode of ProdActivity, where we review and analyse apps and websites, used daily, from the product perspective. In today’s episode, we are looking at a hot topic - #Instagram, a social media channel that started as a photo-sharing platform in 2010 and then was acquired by Facebook in 2012. Today Instagram is the largest platform for photo-enthusiasts, but it is more than that and keeps evolving daily. Is it for better or worse? The time will show.
But today, let get into “Instagram”, the good, the bad and the features to add.

Episode 2.2 "Twitter", the good, the bad and the features to add
Upd: A week after this episode, Twitter has added #fleets feature (basically a Snapchat/Instagram-like stories). Personally, I do not think, this was a good choice, but may be we will get used to it as we did with others.
Welcome back to ProdActivity! The show where we analyse and review software products/apps/websites and what activities can be done to make them better. So, in this episode, we are analysing Twitter, the tool that millions of people use daily. Without further ado, let's get started with Season 2, Episode 2:

Episode 2.1 "LinkedIn", the good, the bad and the features to add
Welcome back to the show! It has been a while, sorry for having a long break! A lot has changed since then in my personal life, I finished a course in product management, took amazing freelance projects on and went through several amazing interviews. Oh and one more thing, the name of the show has changed to something much catchier, and now it is called ProdActivity. The show from now on, as mentioned before, will be about products, product reviews and analysis and what activities can be done to make them better. Thus, the name ProdActivity. So, in this trial episode, we are analysing Linkedin, the tool that millions of people use daily. Warning, as it is the first analysis, the format may not be the best, but here we go. Without further ado, let's get started with Season 2, Episode 1:

From season 1 to season 2
Hi everyone!
Hope all is well! This episode is not actually an episode, but more like a summary of a season one and transition to season number two. In the first season, we got to know me a bit starting from childhood, looked at the education and career growth journey and analysed the case of GetGuided with all ups and downs. In the last two episodes, we also understood the difficulties of job search, especially during the pandemic period.
So what is next? As I am looking for a job of a Product Manager, I believe it would be interesting for all and beneficial for me to do software product analysis of different products from famous brands as well as start-ups. We will look at the product overview, the market of the product, the features, the UX/UI and more. During analysis, I will try to provide explanations for the technical terms such as UX/UI, which may prove to be useful if you are interested in product management, development or entrepreneurship. Finally, there will be recommendations for product, features, design and market, where available. If you are interested in product reviews sign up now and send us the products you would like to be reviewed.
For today that is it, thanks a lot for your time and see you in season 2, next week! As always, remember to check Medium channel for visual and written version and check Teespring for apparel by GetGuided. Thanks for listening, stay safe, talk to you later.
Episode 8. Job search process and my experience
Today we are looking at where to find jobs and how to apply, what you need to prepare beforehand, what are the odds of finding a job, the unfair limitations, how to handle rejections, how to sustain yourself financially and more. Each topic will be concise and precise; therefore, the episode may be a bit shorter than the other ones.

Episode 6: The fall GetGuided, Year 4 and almost 5
Overall, looking back it was a long journey with ups and downs and I am thankful for all. At times I think I worked a lot and learned a lot; at times I think I did not do enough and was not enough for the role. Those doubts will always be there, but the key is to understand both pluses and minuses of the experience and take that onto the next journey with you.

Episode 5: The most active GetGuided, Year 3, Ups and Downs
In 2017, we switched our focus from student suppliers to professional guides and from just travellers to travellers and businesses, such as hotels and travel companies. When we decided to pivot our focus, we also have decided to change our product as well. This decision was taken at the end of 2017 and the process continued throughout 2018. My co-founder, back then, already was hired into one of the largest tech companies was not be able to focus as much as before, thus we hired a tech lead to work on the product development. Besides the tech lead, in different quarters of 2018 we hired a supply manager, a sales manager, large client adviser and a part-time designer. In this episode I will focus on key lessons...

So in this episode, we will look at a real kick-off year of GetGuided where the most action has happened, 2017. Here is episode four, the second year of GetGuided.
