Progressholic has been something that has been an incredible part of my life over the last year. The responses from the listeners, the guests we’ve had on, the impact that we’ve hopefully been able to create in some form or the other. It has been an incredible journey. EP 080 - Paralympian James Roberts On his Journey as an Athlete and Beyond
In this episode , we speak to 2- time Paralympian James Roberts. James was was born with a congenital disability called femoral dysplasia and a floating hip of the left leg as well as scoliosis of the spine.
He was an elite Paralympian athlete for just over a decade. He has represented Great Britain at countless World Championships as well as 2 Paralympic Games including Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
In the past, he has also held the SB8 200m breaststroke and 50m breaststroke national records in swimming
When it comes to rowing, he is a 2007 World Championships Semi-Finalist, 2008 Paralympic Finalist and 2009 World Championships Finalist.
When it comes to volleyball, he has amassed 56 caps for Great Britain as well as competed in the 2010 World Championships and London 2012 games. Currently, he is an online training and nutrition coach.
